You guys! JUST received my AOR1 email!! I'm at work right now, but will check if ECAS or MyCIC show any updates when I get home! Yay!

Good stuff! Hopefully mine tomorrow or Monday :)

I believe after AOR1. I am also able to link my application with MyCIC/GC Key but have had no luck with ECAS. I think we'll need the UCI# in order to access that.

Thank you.

Thank you.

No problem! I received my AOR1 after I replied to you earlier. I will check tonight whether my MyCIC account is updated and whether I am able to access ECAS.

Thanks for the response guys. I have additional question why is Manila immigration emailed me this?
Dear xxxxxxx,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which has been received at this office on September 07, 2016.

Your application number is xxxxxx. Please ensure that you quote this number in all future correspondence with our office.

You must submit the following information/documents ONLY IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBMITTED THEM WITH YOUR APPLICATION

She has a dependent son in the Philippines and will not accompany her after her approval in PR, is this the reason why they send my application to Manila? We gave them the birth Certificate and etc and the application on the website says "Decision Made". are we close to get approval? How long does medical exam will receive on immigration office?

Might not be AOR2, or at least not the AOR2 they're looking for. PA is a US citizen, with a Phillippine dependent son not accompanying her. I think they were expecting Ottawa VO.

I will confirm it that it is an AOR but i dont know if its AOR2 or AOR only. it says "Acknowledgement of Receipt (KC)" what does (KC) means? will the PA get a medical instructions soon? how long do we have to wait for that?

I sent in my application on August 15th, it was received August 16th and I just received AOR1 yesterday (September 9th).
I also am able to link my application on MyCIC and access it on ECAS.

We sent our application out on August 15th, and it was received the 16th. We cannot link it, or view it on ECAS. We also have heard nothing in terms of AOR1. Needless to say, we are very worried! Especially now that people who filed it the same day are getting their AOR1's. Very worrying :(

Do not worry about that. there are still more than 4 business hours left today :) Besides, from what I gather some people do not get AOR1 at all. The processing time for sponsor approval is now 29 days. Based on your timeline, you should get your SA by next Wednesday. If you don't hear from them until then, call CIC on Thursday, I am sure they will have an answer for you. But, hopefully, you will hear from them before that :)

Haha I really hope we hear something today! I think also the fact that we can't link or see any information on ECAS is adding stress to the whole situation, because we have no idea whether the application was even opened or anything! Just the tracking number from UPS haha
