Still cannot link. I am worried something may be wrong with the applacation. That, or I am incredibly impatient. Application was received on Aug 10/16. I received Application number and UCI number - still no luck

Have you called CIC? maybe a person can help you with that. Try every single possible combination. I read someone had an issue, later on found out the officer had put single instead of married on their application. Do not give up and try it again. Hopefully, it will work soon for you...

CanadaPost delivers the package to a PO Box so there is no one to sign for it (that's not a bad thing necessarily). If you send it via UPS/FedEx it goes directly to the office so that has to be signed for. Not a big deal either way as no one usually looks at it for a few days at least.

Just looking at your dates knowledge101 - how are you getting processed so fast?! Haha Good for you! ;D

I was able to link my account eventhough I still did not get an AOR. Application status says "OPEN" Application was received on Aug.23, 2016.

Yes she will. My BF (now common-law) is a US citizen and required it as well. She will also require an FBI security clearance and requests were taking as long as 15 weeks. Just a heads up.

They're accepting channelers again, so if someone wants to take that route it's much faster than 15 weeks.
