AUGUST 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the information on this site, it has been super helpful.

I'm a US citizen, my wife is a Canadian citizen and we are doing outland spousal sponsorship.

We mailed our package out on Aug. 25, they emailed us on Sep. 24 saying they received it, and today (Sep 27) she was approved to sponsor me and our application has been sent to CPC-Ottawa. So far, so good!

Also, is there a spreadsheet for August? I wasn't able to find one if there is.

Thought I'd share an update: my app was received on Aug 19, AOR1 on September 16th, and it says Decision Made on eCAS as of today for the sponsor application.

I know my app hasn't been sent to Ottawa yet, as I called to check on this. I had also received a notice on Saturday afternoon saying that there was an update in MyCIC (linked), even though I still don't see anything different there... Looks like things are chugging along, hopefully normally?

I just received an email from CIC with a letter stating that i meet the eligibility requirements Alhamdullillah It states that my husband's application has been sent to London visa office instead of Abu Dhabi. I am very happy with the result as I was very worried about our application ;D

I check mycic n check application starus tool, nothing has been updated yet. My account still shows eligibility as "review under progress". Its wierd but I m very happy that i got SA ;D ;D ;D ;D

I received it as PDF attachement in my email ;D I m in Dubai living with my husband and our daughter. I doubt they can send mail to Dubai. The letter states that if i am receiving it in email then they will not send any in regular mail.

Just wanted to inform you that I have received email from CIC and it seems that I have met for the eligibility to sponsor my wife . and the application was forwarded.

And Our application was sent to Singapore Visa Office. Thank God things are processing faster now.

Also just want to know, this means I have received the AOR2 right? and what is SA and what will be next ?

And tried to link my application since I got AOR1 but still no luck any ideas on that guys?

This is your SA confirmation. Aor2 will be from visa office. You also got via email. Are living in Canada or out side Canada being sponsor ?

So how does the Visa office works when they send it, does it depends on the nationality or the country of residence? OR is there a list of Visa office where they mention this?

In your case you mentioned file transfer to Singapore. So aor2 will be from then. It's good know that SA confirmation can come via email. As there is three post on it

When you received that email that your application was updated, something must have changed a bit on your MyCIC. Either the Review of Eligibility was changed to Review in Progress or the Review of Medical results was changed to In progress or Passed. Check it again
