That's your AOR1 right there Give it a couple of days, and you will eventually be able to check the status of yiur application through ECAS. Btw, have you tried linking your application to MyCIC yet?

I will give it few days until i see the status online.

I haven't signed up to MyCIC, I will try to do that and sign up with the application number if possible.

Also am wondering where is spreadsheet the group is talking about??

After about a week of waiting for my SA on my email, I finally got it today... through regular mail! ;D Yayy! Correspondence is dated September 13 which is exactly 29 days after they received our application Our file was sent to Manila for further processing.

You got yours by mail? Did you add an e-mail on your application. I'm curious as to why it was sent through regular mail. Interesting!

I entered a date under AOR2 on the spreadsheet, and entered the date per my ECAS/CIC showing that they began processing PAs application on Sept 15/16.

Hi joyce_tosf,

May I know what is stated on your ecas when you click the "Decision Made" on the Sponsorship Application part? Cause mine says they sent a correspondence on September 14 about the decision but I did not even receive anything from them. Principal Applicant part, however, also says "In process".

When I click on "Decision Made" under Sponsorship Application status I see the following:

1. We received your application to sponsor ____ on August 16, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 8, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on September 7, 2016.


On the PA side, it says:

1. We received ____'s application for permanent residence on August 16, 2016.
2. We started processing _______'s application on September 15, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.


So I still have no formal confirmation of my SA other than that saying Decision Made and the CIC agent I spoke to on the phone last week confirming this.

I just checked my account and it says the medical results are passed too...someone is working on it today because I checked an hour ago and there was no update ;D

I am a June applicant and still no update on my Medical I did upfront...I live in Canada.
How do you guys communicate with visa office to get updates on applications ?

The PR side that says "We started processing _______'s application on September 15, 2016." is proof you got SA even though you never seemed to have gotten the correspondence. I got that same message show up on the PR side the same day I got my SA email. When I got my SA email my Sponsorship Application side went to "Decision Made" as well a week later, but I never got a new line or anything confirming approval, that came in the email.

I'm not sure about how long does it take for someone to get his/her AOR2 once the file has been transferred to a specific visa office. I think it depends on whoever's handling your file. As for me, I didn't even get an AOR1. All I was given was an SA and the rest is up to our visa officer, I guess?

Yup! I even checked our file a number of times to see if I spelled my email address right.

Oh that got me worried even more. :'(. Thinking the factvthat I got SA and believed my file transfered to Ankara since ECAS says we started to process your application .....! So that's weird.something us not right with mybapplication
