My application was received on Aug.23 but still NO AOR. But when I open my CIC account, it says "REVIEW OF MEDICAL RESULTS PASSED". I'm still happy for that at least I know that my application is moving. ;D

I just checked my account and it says the medical results are passed too...someone is working on it today because I checked an hour ago and there was no update ;D

If you have an email listed when you sent in an application then they will email you and also let you know what Visa office your application is being sent to. If you didn't add an email, then they will mail you, and if you have a representative (like me) then they will notify the representative by emailing. And from my understanding, I believe that it does imply SA and when "Review in progress" changes to "passed" it means that they've completed processing your wife's part of the application. I hope that helps!!

On a different note, some call centre agents are so rude and useless. I called today, a week since my last call, about my delayed SA, lack of any correspondence, and the supposed typo in my email address (which I proved wasn't even our fault). The agent said, quite aggressively, that the processing times are just an average, and then went on to explain what a median is like I was a 5-year-old. However, this is wrong because the CIC publishes how they calculate these times (their 80-20 rule). I didn't correct her in order to avoid trouble.

It didn't help that, when my brain perceives someone as an authority, I get really anxious. So with her being seemingly annoyed, my voice started to crack and I was hesitating. Now I worry she thinks I'm some sort of immigration fraud.

She wouldn't even check if I had any missed correspondence nor would she verify SA (as in, she acted like she couldn't check at all). I really wish I had her agent number.

When you submitted your sponsorship application (IMM1344), at the very top of the form you choose whether you want your PA's application to continue if you've been denied SA, or if you want to have the application and fees returned.

If you chose the latter (return the app/fees), then seeing the PA's application go to "Review in Progress" means you have SA. They wouldn't start processing it unless you were approved.

I would suggest doing a CSE, and requesting another copy of your SA approval letter. If only for your peace of mind?

I did check to withdraw the application if I was denied SA, so I guess I'm definitely approved, thank you!

I guess I'll try to request another letter through the mail, or at least once they get my email all sorted out.

Strange thing in the email though was to pay the RPRF fee but submit and email a photocopy of the receipt.

I am going to assume they mean send them the receipt by email that I will get electronically.

After about a week of waiting for my SA on my email, I finally got it today... through regular mail! ;D Yayy! Correspondence is dated September 13 which is exactly 29 days after they received our application Our file was sent to Manila for further processing.

That's your AOR1 right there Give it a couple of days, and you will eventually be able to check the status of yiur application through ECAS. Btw, have you tried linking your application to MyCIC yet?

Hey guys, waiting since 2016/08/22 for my PR processing so my speedy file is now in a normal queue haha On the spreadsheet, what is the "Stage 2 AOR (if any) OR 3rd line" section for? Is the AOR2 the SA? Because these are all I see:

We received _____ application for permanent residence on August 9, 2016.
We started processing ____ application on August 22, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Never got an AOR2 just started processing

I entered a date under AOR2 on the spreadsheet, and entered the date per my ECAS/CIC showing that they began processing PAs application on Sept 15/16.
