Hi guys here's my updated timeline.


Received application to sponsor August 17, 2015
Started processing September 28, 2015
Sponsorship Approval October 6, 2015 (received a letter from CIC)

Visa Office Manila

Application received for PR August 17, 2015
Correspondence acknowledgement receipt October 27, 2015
Started processing application on October 27, 215
Medicals have been received.

Hoping for PPR and DM soon

So on November 19, my wife received an email from her visa office asking for her passport and two recent photos.
the ecas status was also updated from 'In Process' to 'Decision made'. I'm still shocked how quick of a turn-around that was..., it literally took three months from when I submitted the documents.

Our file received in 11 Aug and start process in 16 Oct in Ankara, but I haven't new Email.

We received our sponsorship approval about One month ago. and also received AOR2 from oversea Visa Office

However, today when I check the Ecas, on the sponsorship side, it still shows IN PROCESS.

Anyone still has IN PROCESS on their sponsorship side?

The CIC sometimes isn't great about updating ECAS. If you've already received SA and AOR2, then it's simply an issue on their part of failing to update the online tool. I wouldn't worry too much; your application is moving along as it should.

What does it say for Permanent Residence Application? Application Received?

The CIC sometimes isn't great about updating ECAS. If you've already received SA and AOR2, then it's simply an issue on their part of failing to update the online tool. I wouldn't worry too much; your application is moving along as it should.
