Yeah, I don't have a car either and not sure how I will handle driving in the snow/ice once I do get a car. I am scared of that too.kangamoose said:I so understand this too! The last time we were living here in Canada we lived in a city and I worked and had friends and kept pretty busy. It definitely makes a difference settling into a new place and helps when you start to miss home![]()
I do volunteer twice a week, but I take the bus. In the Winter I don't always make it in. It's no fun walking to the bus stop in freezing cold weather and snow & ice all over the place. Lol
It's been really hard losing some of my independence and being alone a lot, but I know it's not forever. I am looking forward to all the changes that getting PR will bring.
