Hello congrats on your processing it's looking good for you. SA=Spousal Aproval- you get this email when the sponsor has been approved and the file is transferred to the visa office. AOR2= Acknowledgement of receipt- is the email you will receive from the visa office staying they have receive your application. From what I understand they have requested additional documents meaning they contacted you which is the AOR2. If you your online status is saying "in process " it's cause their either working on your file or its in que. Did it changed to in process after you sent the additional documents?
its in process while they transfer my file . no changes in status since then .

Oh ok.. So they asked you for the documents after it changed to "in process"..?

Thanks :) im concerned because we requested our FBI early december. I am.hoping cic doesnt request any time soon ( who would have thought id say that!!) As we probably wont get it within their time frame. I also have had really bad anxiety over this. Thinking of worst case scenarios. Sometimes i just need to hear "something" so i know things are still progressing..

Also...random question. I hate to bring this up but i will. My spouse and i are married, have been for a few years. I am going tk be honest and say im kinda upset how this : worldwide income" issue is really impacting me. He has his own household expenses and although we share finances its not like he can contribute to like, half of mine. But as a result, my pharmacare dedustible is rediculous compared to my income, any social services or student loans etc are all tied to a dual income. Even my child tax. So honestly, the longer this takes, the worse off financialy i get. Anyways, that is my rant....:(

Oh yes, keep us posted!!

Got my GCMS notes.... Kinda useless. Took 30 days exactly. Unfortunately the notes are as of the date of submission (30 days ago) not as of the current date. Don't know if that's always the case. I think this is the important stuff but if there is something else I'm supposed to be looking at, please just point me in the right direction:

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

I did get a document request on January 11 so I hope my file is currently being worked on. I'll probably request notes again in a couple weeks.

Well, finally an update in ecas.
A new line: "Medical results have been received."

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 13, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 23, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on October 7, 2015.
4. Medical results have been received.

A small step for ecas a giant leap for our application (hopefully :D)...

We have same time line..

New 4th line in ecas this morning:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 11, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on October 7, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. We sent you correspondence on January 11, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

The correspondence was an email asking for my Quebec Selection Certificate. Sent it in within an hour. Instantly received an auto-acknowledgement. Then two days later received an email from a person (I think because the signature block contained a 7-digit code that looked like an employee ID number) saying "The information you provided has been updated in our system. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization."

I know how you feel. It's almost depressing. We applied Aug 27/15 and we're still at In Process since Nov 6/15 It's tough to stay positive when you keep seeing that others after you are getting approved and we're still waiting

Our VO is Ottawa

Hey everyone :)

I'm a September applicant and just checked your thread. It's so exciting that a lot of August applicants are getting approved that fast :) Stay positive and strong for those who are still waiting, we are all in the same boat. It seems that two Sept applicants got approved as well, it depends from the visa office...

We will all be with our loved ones really soon hopefully :) I'm lucky that i'm in Canada with my partner, so I understand as well those who are here, away from their friends and family, unable to work, just being housewives / housemen (which I personally hate)!!! I can't wait to start working and interact with people other than myself! ahahha

Just a question. What are the GCMS notes and how do you get it?

Good luck everyone :) each day we are closer to the end of this stressful process :)

Very depressing . But we gotta stay positive . We applied Aug 26/15 and ours is still IN PROCESS since Nov 05/15. Yeah it tough. But we all have different VO's and that's the difference.. What's your VO( Visa Office)?

OMG!! It's so great knowing there are others that understand the "talking to yourself", being a "housewife" and not working.
I am also very happy to be in Canada with my honey, but I agree with everything you said.
I miss being around people, so it will be great to be able to work.

I so understand this too! I can work but we're temporarily living in a small town without any prospects for me or access to a vehicle for me to drive (kind of petrified to drive in the snow and ice on the wrong side of the road and car anyway haha) makes it difficult to work :(

The last time we were living here in Canada we lived in a city and I worked and had friends and kept pretty busy. It definitely makes a difference settling into a new place and helps when you start to miss home :)
