I got SA last week and my application was sent to London. It remains to be seen if this means I will wait longer than applications being sent to Ottawa/Mississauga.

Just got Sponsor Approval today! 77 days after original application was received, 36 days after we were asked to submit an additional document (which was sent the next day via regular Royal Mail).

Our application was transferred to Ottawa, which I see as a positive thing!

Now, the waiting game starts from scratch...

May I ask you, the additional documents were they for the sponsor or the principal applicant?

Actually, they weren't "additional" documents as much as a form that had been left out of the original application: IMM5406

Yeah... I don't know how we forgot it. I definitely don't remember making a conscious decision to NOT include it. But you know how it gets when you fill those forms, your brain ends up melting at some points. ??? Glad it's all done!

Btw, if there are any other Québec applicants out there, we just sent our request for a CSQ today. It should arrive by Monday at Québec Immigration.

Received Stage 2 AOR via email from Singapore VO that they received the file on October 13. 2014! Can anyone guess how long it might take from now. Are there anyone from SVO in August applicants receiving AOR?

and 41 days after updated forms were sent.... received SA today! now we move on to the longest wait time....I hope within 6 months ... but i'll enjoy the SA for today

Congratulations!! We, on the other hand, have been patient, but have not received SA yet. We re-submitted our August form, and according to postal confirmation it was delivered on September 12. After MANY attempts, my husband was just able to talk to someone at CIC who indicated that we have to wait.

Does Ottawa typically not update status to "In Progress" in ECAS and skip to some sort of decision?
