I got an email from CIC this morning. I got asked for a new IMM5406 form, I think I sent this as an N/A form but reading it again now I should have filled it in. Feel luck CIC didn't return the application. They also asked for a marriage certificate since i sent a letter saying i will send it once it arrives.
Interestingly they didn't ask me for an updated IMM1344 even though I sent the old one. Unless they will ask my Sponsor.
I got my UCI number along with my application number
I've filled out the form and just sent it via fedex from the UK hopefully they will receive the forms tomorrow. *Fingers Crossed*
..They send to your sponsor email and ask to re-send updated IMM1344( if its needed ) ,considering on that form both signatures are necessary,yours and sponsors,maybe you can fill in the form,print,sign and mail it to your spouse, he can forward to CIC all updated apps..It is faster 
Same thing happened to us. I swear I had read somewhere that this form didn't apply to our situation, but now I can't recall where... It seems odd that in the midst of such an intense process, even after checking and rechecking, we both made that (rather big) mistake!anonapplicant8 said:

I think I know the wordings of the top of my head. I guess we can be partly happy they didn't send it back. I will let you know if we receive anything. Did you get a UCI or an application number? Yes, I got a UCI and application number, which is the one good thing about the whole ordeal! I will ring them to check they got it if I don't receive an update within a week or two (we are still well under the 55 days processing times for SA, so no rush). I just hate calling CIC: I haven't mastered their automated system yet and end up spending way too much time on the phone before I can actually speak to a human!anonapplicant8 said:
