AUGUST 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

I think they are not supposed to ask you for new forms if they recieved your application on July 31. The letter they send us says this:

"applications received on or after August 1, 2014 must include the following forms:

• Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM1344 08-2014 or later);/...."

Since your application was recieved before August 1st you should be fine. The new version was probably not even avilable then. I might be wrong,

Some applications sent in July were still asked to provide the new form even tho CIC received it before August 1, While some of us were lucky and it was not requested.

Since your application was recieved before August 1st you should be fine. The new version was probably not even avilable then. I might be wrong, but I think you will hear from them first when you get your SA approval, which hopefully will be soon as the timeline on the website says they are working on applications recieved July 31st

Well i really hope so, because its almost two months,if they needed updated forms they should have told me earlier..lets wait and see this week ..fingers crossed.

You might be ok..CIC tended to check the incoming applications during July and August with in a few days of receiving them and then sending the request for updated forms.

Be patient you should hear from them soon.

Oh I see now they requested updated docs from you even though you sent your app in before lorenz1025. Hope he is one of the lucky ones since he hasn't heard from them so far. I was one of the lucky ones that did not get the request for updated forms.
but there was another member with the same receive date as mine that did get the request

If you check the July spreadsheet, a lot of them were asked to send in the new form despite it not even being available when they applied.

That's good, I assumed your doc request in your profile was for the new forms. Hope your luck continues during the rest of the process as well )

Thanks yes we all need all the good luck we can have to get through this process.
As for my doc request CEM wanted to be sure I paid CIC the other half lol, (RPRF)
Plus some personal documents of myself and my wife's AOM

I am able to login to ECAS using my Sponsor's UCI and also my UCI (which is there in my visitor visa).

And it says Application Received under Sponsorship application status and PR application status.

How did you get the sponsor UCI? Did they send you a confirmation?

Mine was received a day before yours and my status is still not updated in their system. So inconsistent.

Nope I did not receive any form of communication from CIC.
My husband is a Permanent Resident. His UCI is also his PR number.
I believe the UCI remains the same once assigned to a person as I read in other threads here.

Thanks guys..what a sigh of relief eh..now step2 is the actual battle of the patience and hoping my documents will pass visa officer evaluation and scrutiny...goodluck to all..
