Will a courier deliver to a po box?

Sorry generally they will not...you are referring about UPS/FEDEX etc ?

So how did people send their forms? By regular mail? That would take forever

Hi

I sent the form requested is by express post and used the original address and put family sponsorship and the file number on the outside of the envelope. I was told My application goes to the 48 day start again so I am now basicly started over I received an email that my application is complete and should receive more info as per SA Oct 16. I sent the app July 11th.

If in Canada, you can send it by Canada Post Xpresspost. They provide tracking.

We are outside of Canada.

Courier to friends or family and have them send on Xpresspost. Just a suggestion if you want to ensure that it is received. I always worry when I cannot confirm receipt of something this important.

Otherwise, you may be stuck with just regular mail.

Good luck.

EMS courier...will deliver, as EMS enters Canada through the postal system.

My wife sent me her Thai PCC this way from Thailand via EMS

EMS has a tracking system as well.

The normal process is for CIC to simply ask for the new form...but who knows what is normal for them. I think the majority of people just had to send in the new form and did not have their entire application sent back to them, which is a pain as I think you might lose your place in line...but if there is a temporary file number on the letter, you still might be in luck when you send it all back with the letter they enclosed and highlight the file number. Hopefully you get to send it to the new filing address.

mn096104, I don't see your name on the August spreadsheet...did you file in August or before?
Sorry my case is pretty complicated as my sponsor received social welfare before (our SA will take forever without doubts) also we after we sent our application, we sent in new forms before CIC contacted us, so basically i dont think my case timeline can be helpful

Hi all, just wondering if you would be able to add me to the spreadsheet for August?

Application type - Outland married
Application sent - August 23 2014 (from Calgary)
Application received - August 25 2014.
Visa office requested was London.

Thanks! I see there were a few of us finally got everything together for the 23rd lol. Will be interesting to watch!! :)

cic requested new forms , so I sent Purolator yesterday and they will receive them on Wednesday. Lets hope the process moves along now without any other problems and doesn't take so long. Its sure is a frustrating process, good luck to everyone

Sponsor received an email from cic today . Hopefully no more applications returned for August applicants. I still don't understand why others had their applications returned. The scary part of having my application returned are the police clearances that had expired and will expire and what a pain to get them. Good luck to all of us.

What was the email for? To update the application?

Is your name on the August spreadsheet?

That makes me worried, my police clearance will be expired on October 2, but I already got email for new forms request, and I already send them out on September 2. my question is how do they define the police record is Valid? which date do they start to count? by the receiving day or from the first stage approved?
