I'M LOSING my FREAKIN MINNNNNNDDDDD. I had a feeling that I'd get SA today....NOPE! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? OVER 3 MONTHS NOW WITH STILL NO SA. How am I suppose to keep it togetherrrrrr?!?!?

You will be getting it soon, if you weren't they would have sent the application back. Have you called and spoke with someone? in time it will come, Im a random in the middle recipient of SA with time being about 3 months. Keep the faith!!

Yupp that's me initially submitted my file in august re-submitted updated forms on oct.23rd no answer as of yet.

When they asked you to summit updated forms , did they give you a time frame to have then in by .I was given 45 days to send documents and i had to wait till the end of the 45 days before i received SA.

I still have heard nothing from Canadian embassy in manila..... received my approval for SA November 5th and was informed my application was forwarded to Makati ... but haven't heard anything from them yet.. and my UCI # say they cant locate anything
no UCI was received for my wife yet.....
using file number and my wife's name it just says application received in august....
Not sure if I should email embassy in manila

That sounds about right . You can now login with your application # and your wife's details .Until they have made a desion they will not update .Some VO don't even update escas. Check the Manila thread and check how long things are taking from SA to DM.

Yeah they give u 45 days. My letter was on sept 25th it's been well beyond 45 days now and still no SA

It seems US applicants are being fast tracked to about 6-8 months.

Yes i was given 45 days as my time frame i received the request on sept 29 and i submitted my docs on oct.23rd. CIC told me you have to count the days again from the day u submitted.

Ya I would really take those timelines with a grain of salt, I applied Outland via London that is currently posted as 10 months for Stage 2 I think but I got my PR in less than 2 months

Edited to clarify: my application was kept in Mississauga for processing along with some others who applied via London, so even though I applied to London, my application was never even sent there so regular processing times don't reflect much on exceptions such as mine.

Alicia your application stayed in Mississauga, not London. At least according to the London Outland Spreadsheet which is updated with the info you provide us (the editors).

Hi Andrew, thanks for clarifying that and sorry if my original post was misleading, I initially just wanted to point out that posted processing times aren't a given, I know there are some US applicants who received their PR in 3 months and that hopefully the posted processing times won't discourage anyone from applying Outland. Thanks again for your post and my apologies!

Hey!!.. still no update for me.. But they emailed me just yesterday to let me know that they've received my application.. I thought it got lost.. I still don't have SA.. Patiently waiting and staying positive..

Oh.. how long it took you to re-send required documents ??? i send it back to them in 1 week . Overall in 3 months, my file was transferred to New Delhi. i think around 3 month is the average time for first stage for all New Delhi applicant.

have you submitted ur docs on oct 6 and received SA on nov. 27th? mines oct 23rd so then i should be next soon right, sorry im just asking because im worried i received a second letter requesting same docs on nov 18th mabe bcz i sent in the form late and thats why they havnt got to oct. 23rd yet you think it could be?

My dad called cic the other day and they said their system automatically generates the letter as soon as 45 days are up.
