The latest news is this:

Got email confirmation just now for family application.

Application received on 29th July.

I also received Email today stated that my application was received on the 25th of July. Also no e-cas info showing.

Guys...we are close to the starting point..be ready to get excited to hear some good news from early Augusters by next week. But don't worry or go upset if not; as it may take up to first week of December to cover the high volume of June.

Today marks 2 months since my application was received. That was a Friday, so maybe I should count August 11 as the real date. Nonetheless the real anticipation begins now!!!!!

Ottawa Resident , My application was received on 11th too..so we are together in the boat.

I am eagerly waiting for somebody in August group to report. At the same time I feel a lot is going behind the scenes at CIC to change the process. Taking Citizenship Judges away from the process is a big move but will it change the timeline...I am not sure. Renewing PR cards has always been with CIC officers but timeline has steadily grown over the no. of years.

There is already one report but not an exciting one unfortunately...

Hi guys, i got my application returned today.
CIC received my case on August 1st.
In the return letter, it said 'the school records provided for yourself do not cover the 4 year period preceding the data of your application. Please send us a photocopy of school records for each of the 4 years during the relevant 4 year period.'

come on CIC, it is already October 9, why none of our Auguster get any update on our application.
I think their current processing speed is ridiculously slow compared to months ago. For guys received on August 1, it is already more than 2 months!!! (My application is received by CIC on August 21)

As per what we can see from the July post, more and more people are starting to get email AOR, which means maybe CIC is switching their processing routine. That will require some time but hopefully it will get faster and faster.

Keep checking your email too including junk box!

Guys, this is petientdog someone updated my ECAS status in the spread sheet, that is not funny. For the record i have not received any ECAS updates nor have i received any AOR from CIC. Let us assume it was a mistake from someone who stayed up too late.
