Good afternoon sis, i had some queries, is anybody here requested for re-medical, I got an email for re-med.. My medical Expire May 27,2014. I send May Passport to CEM May 8.... In process in ECAS May 28,.... then im required to re do my medical.... is there no extension on it? or depend upon the VO?.. thanks sis

I think it depends on the VO. Mine were supposed to expire June 4, 2014. I just for my GCMS notes and a few weeks ago they approved for my medicals to be extended for another year! Lord I hope it doesn't take that long though!

Meds can be extended at the discretion of VISA Officer, not all get extended.
I think it all depends on how far into the process CIC is when meds expire. If close to finished they will extend, if not re-med.

I called my husband crying hysterically and screamed Woooohooooo!!!!!!!! I almost had a freakin heart attack!! I never thought this day would come!! Logged into eCas to find DECISION MADE!!!!!!!!!

1) what is the possibility of it being an approval letter??
2) do the officers work on the weekends?? I checked Friday and it was the same old ' app and meds' received And then today decision made!!!!!
3) can I get a hell yeah!!!????

It does feel great! We sighed a huge sigh of relief ... Once I caught my breath from crying hysterically out of joy and frustration!
