Passport and Appendix A for VISA Issuance.almost there now.

Wow..Congrats to those who got calls from CEM. My passport has been with them for 10 days already and I am still holding my breath for ECAS to update from "in Process" to "Decision Made".

I just hope and pray to God to grant me the visa soon. It's really difficult when you're working abroad and your passport isnt with you.

Dont relay on e-cas. Cause my wife visa is on hand but yet on e cas is still in process.. Some times e cas is not up to date.

You got a point there "Oweng" For instance, my status says "We have started processing XXX Application May 13 2014" When it was only updated on the 20th; The date when they got my passport.

Agreed, many have no updates on e-cas. You will hear from CEM most likely before any updates on e-cas.

Good afternoon sis, i had some queries, is anybody here requested for re-medical, I got an email for re-med.. My medical Expire May 27,2014. I send May Passport to CEM May 8.... In process in ECAS May 28,.... then im required to re do my medical.... is there no extension on it? or depend upon the VO?.. thanks sis

I think it depends on the VO. Mine were supposed to expire June 4, 2014. I just for my GCMS notes and a few weeks ago they approved for my medicals to be extended for another year! Lord I hope it doesn't take that long though!

Meds can be extended at the discretion of VISA Officer, not all get extended.
I think it all depends on how far into the process CIC is when meds expire. If close to finished they will extend, if not re-med.
