At last embassy seems to be working in UAE Abudhabi I have recieved AOR from the visa office today.

I just went through the email and they are asking me to submit police certificate but I have already did it before.
I mean to i didnt submit with the application package but as soon as i have got the approval for the sponsor ship i have send it to them by courier
i have ack receipt fron DHL.Please help do i have to resubmit them as they are not expired.

Nothing yet as exciting as yours paddyO, im applying thru manila VO. Still waiting though, it has been just three months since we applied... If ppr will be this year, (dear God please let it be) i will be very lucky, but i think things will work out by early next year for sure, hopefully, fingers crossed. anyway, have a blissful life and full of love ahead! You're welcome!

Same thing happened to me. I sent mine directly to the VO and a few weeks after my lawyer got an email from them asking for it so he got the tracking number, the postal service's name, the date of the shipping and date of the shipping received according to the online tracking. I think you should send an email to them saying that you have already sent them the police certificates and give them the tracking number, the postal service's name, the date of the shipping and date of the shipping received according to the online tracking.

Hi, my spouse (she is canadian) and me started the application process in July but the date in the CAS is August the 1st, we live in Madrid so our office is Paris.
Last night the Status was Changed to DECISION MADE. We are hoping Im approved.
We are at the moment visiting her parents in Ontario, bad this didnt arrive sooner so I could land right away and not have to return in 2 or 3 weeks.
Anyone knows how long the letters are taking from Paris to Spain?
The application started processing in Paris Nov the 6th.

Is this good news? . Btw im sponsoring my wife who lives in Ecuador . Can anyone please inform me on this step. Im going to pay the 490 dolar fee Right away . Oh and my wifes status has been updated on the cic website .

UPDATE , i just checked my wifes email ( one we created for CIC) and i saw this ..................

- ORIGINAL passport(s) for yourself and all your accompanying dependants (if applicable).

- Prepaid airway bill in order to return your passport (s)

If you pay the fee online you could print a copy of the receipt and include it in the package your wife sends her passport in. I am not sure if this is required but I am sure it doesn't hurt as proof of payment.

I am sure someone else from a non-visa waiver country will be able to give you a definitive answer.

But regardless of the confusion this is still good news!

I am a permanent resident in Canada who recently got married to an american citizen. What we are planning is I will sponsor her but so that she can live in Canada but at the same time work in U.S. We are located in Windsor and she is working in Michigan. Can you give us info on what would be the steps that we need to do.

We need to live together as soon as possible because she will start working on Dec. 16.

my wife received PPR request today , we applied on August 8 2013, it looks like Hong Kong visa office is moving fast.
HK is a visa waiver country buy they requested my wife to send in the passport as well, any idea ?
also after PPR, do you know will we get any interview request after or usually PPR is the last step ?
