Hi jojrob1. I'm in the same boat as you. We sent in my husband's medical report since the beginning and ECAS still does not show Medicals Rec'd for us. Very annoying! I even called the doctor's office to ensure they sent in the results to CIC. As long as they get us his COPR before his medicals expire, I honestly don't care. G'luck

ty but my medical expires in a month or so, so annoying at this point. wish I new this process wud take so long I wud have done my medical wen they ask me for it, save a lot of money that I don't have.

Hi,
I have two family names after the marriage.
On my ecas I was with my madden family name. Today I saw all my family names.
Not big change, but now I know that they are alive.

I have a question
I have a defendant child in the application, who will accompanies me.
On the ecas appears only me, no child. Is it normal?

OK let me give u the step by step details

If you are the sponsor u can use the uci# along with your name d.o.b and country of birth.

Principal applicant u can use ur file # that starts with an F and the other details name d.o.b and country of birth

When I use Principal Applicant : I see the status Application received but
When I use Sponsor I am not seeing anything. It says click to see the status but I do not have anything listed. May be I have to better wait and see.

Thanks I guess they haven't updated it yet or lost my medical.

Have you checked with the clinic where you had your medicals if they had really sent it to cic? Anyway, cic will advise you to undergo another one if deemed necessary.

Just wanted to say, my application was in with CIC since 26th of august(sponsorship approved september 2013) and still no medicals displayed in sponsor's part.

Only: "we received your application on 26th of august,2013".

I know my medicals were sent to London via courier (i paid for it FedEX) and my medicals are all clean (all g, clean lungs, no HIV etc) so I am not worried.

I read somewhere that in a lot of cases "medicals received" doesnt even show up on E-cas so wouldnt be concerned. If i am wrong someone may correct me. Planing to order GCMS notes in January.

So try to relax and layback enjoying yourself. I know its hard, what is horrible with this process, that you cant move on with your life but be positive. Imagine good stuff such as reuniting with your spouse/significant other and having a merry life. Dont let stress kill you.

Do you need to send medicals physicaly through courier . what i heard is now a days its e-medicals and all information is electronically available to visaoffices. I applied 19 aug and my ecas shows application received and medicals received.I send dr receipt along with application

My panel physician (appointed by CIC) didnt know anything about electronic way of submittance (or so he claimed, i dont see why he would lie) and we mailed it to london.

I also attached my medical slip (receipt with my picture etc) to my application.

After reading countless threads on this, my understanding is "medical received" appears in E-cas for some embassies, but not for others.

You may have to bring:

Four recent photographs. You will need to bring these only if the doctor you select from the list of panel physicians does not work with CIC via the eMedical electronic system. Please check with the doctor’s office when you book your appointment.

There are cases like this drs without affiliatin to emedicals

Has anyone ECAS changed to medicals received? wonder when mine will change or if they misplaced my medical. it still says application received MRSALVARO what about u? any changes.

Hi! My ECAS changed to medicals received 2 weeks after file transfer. That was I think August 15. Don't worry, ECAS is not always reliable and there are cases that they don't update the ECAS to medicals received until such time they reach the IN PROCESS stage.
