Thank you Tom. Aleli and I, we've been helping each other since summer when we started packaging our application. We just realized that it's now our turn to pay it forward. Helping our forum members is always a pleasure for us. Yeah, a big thanks to Sweden for the spreadsheet. She is the sweeetest. :)

Best of luck to our applications! Take care always!!! :)

That is very sweet Anne. Paying it forward is a great practice only if most of us could follow it by heart. BTW. We saw the movie a couple of weeks ago :)

PS. Please don't forget that this is a general August thread and not restricted to pinoy hahaha. The Philippines and its people are very close to my heart. After all I've been there so many times!

Regards

Tom

Good Luck All :)

That's very true Sis, we're very grateful to Sweden and to everybody answering all our queries here...They made easier for us new members to accomplish everything from the filling up of the forms up to the packaging of the application...

Great thanks to all of you friends...

Best of luck to our applications...

Let's continue to pray as we patiently wait for God's grace... :) :) :)

Hi Everyone,

First of all I just want to thank you all for managing everything; that is really nice of you, the information related to my case is as follow:

Username: SubZero_2
Medical Done: 14 June 2013
Full application sent: 8 August 2013 (Using FedEx)
Application Received : 9 August 2013 Mailroom, MISSISSAUGA, ON
Visa Office: Ankara, Turkey

By the way, I also have a question I got the tracking number for my wife's medical and when I track it, it shows it has been delivered but it has been delivered to an address in Paris (Creteil) instead of MISSISSAUGA, ON, is it normal? is there an office in Paris which takes care of these medical documents?

Thanks all

Hello sing_tao
msalavaro and abscott will arrange your data in the spreadsheet :)
Stage 1 AOR is the actual acknowledgement CIC-M sends you to let you know that they already have your file and they are processing it. SA is the notification for your sponsor that he/she was approved and now your process goes to the 2nd stage which is your VO!
Your VO will receive those files from CIC-M after SA and will send you (if you are lucky) an AOR (2nd stage)

I hope I helped you

I am an American in Canada now, Montreal Quebec, and will be staying in Quebec.

Question: Should we receive an email or some kind of notice from CIC that they received the appication?

Hii,
Its really great to see that everyone is helping out others. Really appreciate the same!

My question is :
After sending my passport to Delhi, I didnot notice any status change with my client ID to InProcess or anything, Do they do it or Should i have to call or email them?

And, Does the spousal sponsorship too gets late though all the documents and everything is clear from our end? Can I expect the passport back home with visa stamp, in couple of months, I submitted in August 2013, first week?

Please advice.

Thanks,
Raja

Hello Raja555

NDVO requests the passport from the start of your process
No you cannot call them and ask them to change your status in e-cas :) as they have not started to work on your applications. You must learn the game of patience my friend!
The normal processing time for NDVO at the moment is 11 months so within this time frame your apps should be completed unless you have lived in other countries then you must be prepared for a further delay. The passport will remain in the embassy throughout the process.
Join the New Delhi thread to learn more about your VO and also find out about other applicants progress :)

Hi kroovy! May I ask if you used courier to send your applications to CIC?

You will receive AOR 2 weeks on an average after they receive your application
You should be able to track especially if you used courier to send your application.Canada post also has their tracking system .

:D

Helloo all

recently applied, visa office is port of Spain Trinidad
Sponsoring my husband from Guyana.

Medicals July 11 2013
Application Sent Aug 7 2013
Application Received by CPC Mississauga Aug 8 2013

does anyone know what happens when...
my application was originally sent in july 18, 2013 however resent back to me aug 2 received 6 due to a missing signature.. when I got the envelope back the letter of what was missing plus the actual form where the signature was missing was highlighted.
I resent the application with the missing signature and the letter like how they request but does it have any impact on the application? just my nerves are getting to me while waiting for the sponsor approval
