Welcome to the world of infuriating bureaucratic incompetence. I hope that you had some choice words for them when you wrote them back. I have.mac_0n3 said:Update
Ok so ive been waiting since november 25th 2013 for my wifes passport to be returned. I sent Bogota an email 2weeks ago stressing my concern on to why its taking this long and if they even have her passport there. I got an email back saying that its on Que to be looked at but they cant tell me when, but that as soon as its done i would be informed.
Today i get an email from The Visa office saying that they cant go ahead with the application(passport) because i haven't paid the RTPRF of 490.00. I paid this over 2months ago. The case processing centre in Mississauga screwed up and didnt update the VO when my payment was made. I called CIC today and they said that i didn pay but it isnt showing up in Mississauga. They sent a email saying to update my file for the VO. Im so pissed. :'( . Hopefully they inform Bogota ASAP.
Did you pay it with credit card? if so, then you can just send them the receipt as the proof of paymentmac_0n3 said:Update

Ok, so everything good now. Had trouble with passport photos too, photos from certain countries have different regulations. I know Philippines applicant must print name, date, then sign.mac_0n3 said:yes my wife is from ecuador. Im sponsoring her.
