CPC-O received it on April 27th, Return tracker activated today evening i.e. May 02.

Mine got activated on May 2 evening as well.

I completed my medical on April 3rd and it was uploaded on April 9th and I am still waiting, no feedback from anyone or changes in ECAS. I see a few other timelines similar to mine and several of them have landed. Should I be worried?

Well, have you seen those with even worse timelines? There are still Apr/May/June/July/Aug 2013 applicants waiting for updates. We don't even know what's happening with applicants who are not a part of this forum.
Processing time is 13 months for most cases, so unless it's way past that all we can do is wait with guarded optimism.

Passport on its way back. I will be landing on the 8th of May, 2014. What a journey this turned out to be. 8 years in the making so overjoyed

Your wife can also use another kind of identification (not only her passport) like a driving license or any kind of government issued photo ID with her signature. Call a doctor and ask what else they would accept as an identification. Why would you wait? You can save time.

When I did my medicals, I started off by giving an urine sample first. Then the doctor met me and asked about any medical history. If you have or had any medical conditions in the past, this is the time to declare it. They will ask you about a series of medical conditions regardless (like HIV, TB etc.). Once that is done, they did a vision test where you are asked to read small letters from a distance just as you would in an eye doctor's office. Then the doctor examined me with a stethoscope (chest and back), knees, ears. After that was done, I was told to go to a lab in the same building to do my blood test and after that I had to go to another lab to do my chest x-ray. That's all I can remember.

Good luck!

That's correct. Your passport, copy of the "Ready for Visa" email and a prepaid Xpresspost envelope. That's what I sent.

Having just done my medical about 2 months ago, here is what I went through:

- I checked in with reception, and they gave me a medical history form asking if I had ever had certain medical problems (pretty standard ones, e.g. diabetes, cancer). You sign this and hand it back to reception.
- I also had to give a urine sample
- The doctor came out and we did an eye test (read the letters off a standard eye chart)
- She also did a brief hearing test with me (she moved about 10-15 feet away and made noises while a clipboard covered her mouth...I guess so I couldn't just lip read). I had to tell her what sound she was making.
- Then came the actual physical. Guys, be aware that this will involve the "turn your head and cough" moment...
- Also listened to my breathing through a stethoscope, used the reflex hammer (the one they hit your knee with and your leg moves), physically felt around my abdomen and took my blood pressure. All standard things done at a regular physical if you've had one before.

That concludes the physical part. Then you get your blood test done in a different lab and the chest X-ray in a third location. Luckily in Kitchener these are all in the same medical building.
