Hello Everyone,

APP Received at CIC - 13th August 2013
AOR - 16th October 2013
Medicals requested - 13th March 2013.

This forum is really helpful. Thanks everyone who is contributing to this forum and helping people to get permanent residency.

Best of luck to every one and I wish everyone who applied get PR

Received my notes today. I applied on Feb-11 and they were generated on Feb-14.
Nothing was started except Criminality. As mentioned earlier, the notes are not much useful now as they are getting generated close to the requested date and they are ~28 days old.

That's what I thought about the notes when I got my first set. By the time you get the notes, they're old and basically
of no use. However, if your application is stuck in and under review then they're still usefull and they give you insight
on what's going on.

From another thread:

Question: CEC Process After Receiving Medical Examination Request

Hi,

First of all, thank you for taking your time to answer my questions, really appreciated!!

Here is a run-down of my situation:
- Applied for PR under the CEC program on August 16, 2013
- Received AOR (via email only) on October 18, 2013
- Received Medical Examination request on March 13, 2014

Overall, it's been about 7 months since my original application.
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with an idea of what the process is going to be like after I submit my medical examination results.
A few key questions I'm keen to get answered are:
1. How long does it typically take after you submit your medical examination results until you receive your PR status?
2. Could you be rejected to PR status after you have received the Medical Examination request?

I also received (also on March 13, 2014) an email from CIC requesting for me to submit an original copy of the police clearance certification from my home country.
I actually submitted along with my initial application and have sent them an email asking for clarification on what the issue is.
For clarity, my parents obtained the clearance certificate from my home country on my behalf and had it translated by a translator.
Then the translation was notarized by a notary.
If anyone else had a similar issue with regards to the police clearance certification, could someone share their experience?

Thanks everyone!

Is on the way to you its coming by walk ;D ;D

After RPRF request, are we still in eligibility checking stage? Or are we good to complete the journey successfully without any hurdles?

Nothing is complete until you walk out of that Visa office, as a PR :)

Last month, one applicant was asked to pay RPRF, and after few days he was asked to submit PCC. So the process was delayed for him. But RPRF is the second last step (PPR means almost certain) to becoming PR.

But I don't think they check for eligibility this late at RPRF stage. What is the point of asking you to pay for the "Right of Permanent Residence Fee" if they don't think you are eligible. So RPRF probably means eligibility is done.

I have my MR! :)
However I have a few questions, I didn't see anything mentioning my wife on the response, is this normal? Based on an earlier question I was expecting a request for her. I am the prinicpal application.

In addition my wife is pregnant (very early) when booking the medical they said she wouldn't be able to have the x-ray (which I understand). They stated that the lack of x-ray for my wife holds up the process, has anyone been in the same situation?

Im sorry no one seems to know I can only suggest emailing them and asking and/or searching this website for anyone else with similar experience. maybe I am Toby knows. He knows everything

Medical requested today March 13.
AOR October 21 2013

No Way does that mean that they received your application like August 20th? If so you have the fastest application this month! you should put your details on the google spread sheet.

Thanks for the response. I am using a lawyer and have asked them for clarification. Hopefully everything is in order.
