Dear, If I was in your case I will contact CIC .. mention your Client ID, First Name, Last Name and one identity details email them they will be able to provide you AOR. Best Luck

Hello members,

I really need your help. We sent out our application in August 2013 like most of you but have not received the AOR or any other communication from CIC. We are beginning to panic now since our current work permit is valid only till October 2014 (don't think we can extend it any more since we have used up all the extensions).

Do you think we have not received the AOR since ours is a second time application and we already have the UCI? Our first application was returned (2012) since we had not submitted the IELTS score.

I checked online using the UCI and the status says "application received on August 21, 2013" and our credit card has already been charged the visa fee.

What can we do from our end? Can we contact the visa office? How?

Also, can someone post the link for the trackit page? I would like to add our information as well...

Totally agreed with Toby suggested above, since you applied in August, mostly likely your file is in Ottawa at the moment other than Sydney.

Yes, email to Ottawa. CEC applications are being processed at the Ottawa office.
After receiving the AOR all communications should be directed to the Ottawa office, not CIO anymore.

If you applied back in August, then your AOR has already been issued and got lost somewhere on the way.
Yes, contact Ottawa.

You have UCI, and list your name, DOB and contact details to facilitate them easier to locate your file. What you need from them is 1) to confirm your file is processed there and 2) your file No for future correspondence.

As long as you can see the status on the ECAS website and they charged your credit card, it means that they have accepted your application.

The possibility of you not receiving your AOR might be either wrong email address or no-email address. If you think you have given the mail address right, then call CIC and ask them if there is any chance of them re-sending the AOR. Chances are less, but its worth a try.

BTW, did you check your Junk mail box? The mail address you will receive the AOR from is Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca
