Happy to see that August Applications are moving.

Need some help.

I have submitted application for PR for myself & my spouse from outside canada. During the submission of application, I was not able to submit Indian PCC as I haven't recieved it at that time. I have given an explanation letter along with my application.

After enquiring with few members of this forum, I have sent my original PCC with an explanation Letter and all the required details. I have recieved an acknowledgement from canada post on 8th Jan 2014. But I have not recieved any updated from CIC.

I submitted my application on 15th August 2013

Recieved AOR on 17th October 2013

PCC resubmitted on 8th January 2013

1. Does CIC acknowledges these updates ?
2. Does anyone have the email address of CIC to know about this update ?

Guys, I got same email to request the RCMP, but check with you guys if there is an attachment in that email? There is a attachment sign in that email but I did not see any attachments, just confirm with you guys if this is the same to all of us.

Hi what does your ecas status show. Does it show application in process or still application received. I have not submitted the RCMP with the application. Is it mandatory or in some cases they ask for RCMP.

Since you are outside of Canada, I think GCMS notes you want be able to apply.

However you can email it to CIC and can take the confirmation.

It seems there some moving for August applicants.... Crimilnality has started for you guyses.

I got GCMS notes last month and after reading it carefully,
Crimilnality check starts soon once they generate AOR, regarding Fingerprint request my notes says no match record found, it means I am ok.

For those who got email, complete your fingerprint scanning soon and seat back and relax, hopefully in 2 months you will get MR.

If you won't submit now or with application, officer will ask you to provide it in 30 or 60 days whenver they access your application,
Why to delay your application for PCC better to send it if you are able to get it before officer asks, as without PCC you wont be able to get PR.

I submitted mine with the Application.

Can we submit RCMP upfront even if they dont ask for it?
My concern is that I might be in India when they will process my file and if they ask for RCMP when I am in India, it might be very difficult for me to get it done. Isn't it?

So is it not better to get it done now since I am in Canada?
Please advise.

Yeah actually you only need to supply PCC for your home country or any other country, not including Canada, that you have resided in for 6 continuous months or more. If required you will be informed by CIC when you need to submit an RCMP check.

Please can some one provide me the correct email address to contact CIC to eqnuire about my application. As I have applied outside canada, members of this forum informed me that I cannot apply for GCMS.

Do you have a friend or relative in Canada? If yes, you can authorize them to order the GCMS notes on your behalf. It will only cost $5. If however, you do not have anyone in Canada, you can use a third party to order the said notes. That can cost anywhere from 30 to 50 dollars(just an estimate). If you google "Order GCMS," you will find links that will provide this service for you. You can email CIC as well to confirm if they received your document, they may or may not reply.
