May 27th applicant here. Got back response from MP today. Said our file is in the eligibility check phase and that background check and medical check has not yet started. They will start after the eligibility check is complete. I dont understand what do they actually check in the eligibility...

What did MP tell you? Yes it looks like this one officer is either on vacation or too slow in processing the batch of files that was assigned to him/her. But I will be very much concerned if we pass February without any updates.

I have one comment to make and that is dont send zip files. They dont accept archived files. I sent the archived zip file containing 3 documents but CPC replied me back saying they dont accept zip files and send the documents by attaching them one at a time.
