You also become eligible for an open work permit, based on your PR application, 4 months before your current work permitAnna2013 said:Thanks so much iam_toby for confirming this for me... Best wishes...
Thanks! I just went and visited your website. That is a good news for me; I was too stressed about my PGWP being expired by the end of this year. I think I am going to need your help (if you don't mind) in order to get my CEC application coasted successfully. I already have a rejected PhD stream application after 19+ months of wait.... Thanks again.iam_toby said:You also become eligible for an open work permit, based on your PR application, 4 months before your current work permit
is due to expire. Check my website for information on the BOWP ( Bridged Open Work Permit )

Applicants from first week of May have started to receive MRs.pavaneee said:any idea as to which month applications are receiving the medicals or rprf?
At this time based on current processing trends...I would say its safe to assume socrediblesam said:So, we should expect our MR in April-ish.
Hey this is a Canadian police clearance. Its done by the RCMP. Just follow the link and instructions. CIC normally request RCMP criminal record check when your name matches that of someone with a "record." So they just need to clear you based on your finger prints. You will be fine, just get it done and submit asap!!Knada said:hi i just got this email from immigration Canada.
i am august 2013 applicant and i already submitted my Pcc from back home along with my application here is what i got in email
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following document:
Ø Police Certificate: A certified RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints.
Please consult http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm for detailed instructions.
should i submit another pcc from back home or what ?..... confused
