All the July applicants have almost received their AORs. So now it is August. Someone should receive news this week.

As per their spreadsheet, an 18th July applicant just received his AOR,,, I guess we still need to wait for another two weeks. But credit card should be charged starting next week.. Fingers crossed..

AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt. This is the first stage stating that CIC has received all your documents and payment. They will forward it to the Visa office for further processing.

AOR is just Acknowledgement of receipt.

When you file is complete as per the checklist, A file no is created on your name & client ID and an AOR will be sent to you.

Yes, there are many chances of rejecting the file after AOR, because the actual file processing will start after that.

Yes You should get it between 30 sep to 2nd oct. 10-12 more days... ;D
