hello everyone just wanted to ask if anyone can tell me how true tht employer is not connected or no participation at all with the application because if ever i will get my file no. i'm planning to transfer another company if ever i will get a open permit this october is the officers checking employer while waiting for AOR or after u'll get AOR? tru mail or they are calling for background check?

Your application will be assessed on the information you provided in your application package. You are free, if you have an open work permit,
to change employer, move or even leave Canada while your application is being processed.
Just make sure you keep CIC updated with employment information and a valid mailing address.

Hi I am waiting for AOR. I will wait until early October as I am supposed to receive my AOR around 5 October. If still not by then, I'll submit an online application with an explanation letter. That's my plan for now~~ It's quite worrying actually

Current trend to receive AOR is 6-8 weeks.
I guess there is neither good news nor bad news.

Guys. It used to be +13 months and its just recently that we are seeing CIC has sucked timelines somehow under 12 months. And you will see many of 2012 applicants here, including myself, who have already crossed the 12 months timeline. Well, at 12am i will.

But the good change is that i guess they are now sending you AOR after full thorough check. Right? I saw lot of rejections in the beginning of this year and perhaps they were making full thorough check before giving AOR, instead of making a person wait for 8-10 months and then refusing them on eligibility.

No i dont think so.. Mid-July applicants just started getting their AOR

All the July applicants have almost received their AORs. So now it is August. Someone should receive news this week.
