It takes usually 1 to 2 months time after u complete the medicals based on experts from forum

Dear Braveman!

It takes around 1 -2 months after medicals are done before you receive the PPR. If your ECAS is still not showing Medical Results received, then you can send an email to CIC asking them to confirm whether they have received or not.

CIC received my medical results on July 26 and I am waiting for an update since then. I have sent them an email today.

Finally After 1year 1week processing time I have received my passport today. I am so excited 8) I am planning to do the landing over the weekend.

I thank everyone who helped me in this forum and wish everyone else who are waiting for their medicals/PPR's to get them soon.

Hello everyone,

I finally received medical form, hence decided to share my timeline:

Category: CEC
Visa Office: CPP-O
NOC Code: 1222
App. Filed: August 14, 2012
AOR Received: September 5, 2012
Med's Request: August 20, 2013
Med's Scheduled: September 3, 2013
RPRF & Biodata: requested and paid August 20, 2013

For those of you who were waiting for a long time, apply for your file notes. I did so about 2 weeks ago. Although I haven't received my notes yet, CIC requested my medical, bio data and RPRF on the same day. Probably, someone just forgot about my file.

Question: looks like I have few months left on my application after my medical will be done (I'm looking for a doctor who can schedule appointment earlier). My passport expires in May 2014. Will CPP-O accept it or do I have to get a new one? It might take up to 6 months to renew my passport and I have trips planned in Sept and November, so I can't start procedure until December (((

Current timeline (after strike) seems to be 3-4 months and not 1-2 months.

I am planning to do my landing at Peace Bridge this weekend. Can you please let me know what documents are required to be carried along with? What questions were you asked?
Did the officers cancel your valid work VISA while landing? I appreciate your response.

Congrats natinthehat – My application was also received on August 14' 2012 and I am also yet to hear anything from CIC. Hopefully I hear something soon . I am just hoping for it.
My AOR is also Sep 5' 2012.
My status as per GCMS is: Recommend Passed, so I am hoping something by this week.

Thanks for suggestion nicole1006, wish I was in Toronto. But I called other offices and found appointment for this Friday closer to my office and they have eMedical (yay).

This is the letter an august applicant received from CIC. So most probably you will be receiving the same.
If possible move out of Quebec ASAP or be prepared to provide documentation proving your intentions to live in a province other than Quebec.

As expected, received the below email from CIC today. Now it is almost certain that it will be rejected. Any suggestions/ways to prevent this?

Wow, at least the VO gave them a shot to address the concerns. Not sure how one would do so in this case, but its an opportunity nonetheless.
