What is ur noc code?krmmtl said:I have received my passport today and completed my landing at Peace Bridge.
Made the u-turn. Told the CBSA officer that I was there for landing.
He handed me a yellow paper and told me to park and go inside the building.
The immigration officer asked for my address and the info on the COPR.
Didn't ask for any additional documents like bank statement or work permit.
Thank you guys for all the useful information that you have shared on this forum and wish the best of luck to the ones still waiting.

Congrats Swahid,
Need suggestion
1) I went to canada post and requested xpresspost envelopes(national). She asked where you are sending the application when I told ottawa.. She told it should be regional. So take regional ones.. Is it ok?
2) I have two passports.. old one and new one.. I sent the new one in mail and all medicals are done with new passport details.. Should I send only the new one or both?
Quick response is appreciated..
Thanks and Congrats once again....

1. It should not be a problem as long as long as you were sending the passports to Ottawa from within Ontario. Scroll down to 3.1.1 in the link below to see what Canada Post classifies as a region. The attendants at the Canada Post outlets generally know what they are doing and are pretty good, so I wouldn't worry at all. I actually used Canada Post Priority (a faster version of Xpresspost).

2. Did you apply with the old passport and then subsequently get a new one? If so, did you then inform CPP-O about the new passport? Or is the old passport of yours really old and you never used it for the PR application? Generally, if someone applied with one passport and then gets a new one, it is recommended that s/he scan and email the new passport's copy to CPP-O. That way CPP-O has the new information on file. If you didn't do that, but included a cover letter with your mail (with UCI & Application # and the copy of the PPR email), then I think you will be fine cause the CPP-O should be able to figure out your identity with that information.

1) Yes and she explained correctly. One more thing.. is it ok if i fold the return envelope as both are of same size...
2) I applied with old passport and got new one in between and it is already updated in the file and i got my medical request on the same passport...So, It should be fine right if i send only the new passport?
=====================swahid said:1. There's no problem at all with folding.
2. It's perfect. Since CIC has your new passport info on file, they have absolutely no need for your old passport. In fact, sending the old passport would have possibly confused them instead.
Good luck!
Mine was the same. I got my Visa, CPR etc yesterday. Will Land soon. Good luck and cheersmrniceguy3981 said:Passport Posted.... Final wait begins....
