Dear All,

I just saw in my e-cas " Decision Made'" with line added " decision has been made on your application and our office will contact you regarding this decision"

I am little worried because still haven't received PPR, i got MR, RPRF, and bio data request and i did all that earlier this month.

can you share your views if somebody has Decision Made prior to PPR.

your views are appreciated.

Hey all,
Just received PPR by email.very happy.nearly there.

my passport at the moment is gone for renewal. can somebody please suggest what to do.should i inform cpp-o now saying passport is gone for renewal or wait till it comes and send scanned copy.

also they asked me to submit in ottawa but im currently in oman and chose london vo.

how to proceed

I remeber an application, who haven't received medicals has a Decesion Made on Ecas and later he received the Medical Request and PPR in a single email....so Hope the same with you.

Agreed! Just give it some time.....I too have seen this before getting requests, and then a little later they receive it. Doesnt mean anything yet. Until you have something that says either way, it just means that your app will be moving a step in the process (positive or negative is yet to be seen). But, keep the faith and good luck!!!

finally today Ecas status update to "Medical results have been received" after more than a moth that I did medical exams.
hopefully soon I will get good news from CPP-Ottawa.

Hi Shah,

Based on my experience, I said that after one week you may receive PPR. Generally it is taking 1 1/2 to 2 months after Medicals to receive the PPR. Did you ECAS show any updates.

No ecas didnt update anything and i just email from them they said "they were received your medical, thank you !!! After medical received its usually show in ecas that medical has been received right ,,, or it says directly deceision made

I finally received medical form, hence decided to share my timeline:

Category: CEC
Visa Office: CPP-O
NOC Code: 1222
App. Filed: August 14, 2012
AOR Received: September 5, 2012
Med's Request: August 20, 2013
Med's Scheduled: September 3, 2013
RPRF & Biodata: requested and paid August 20, 2013

For those of you who were waiting for a long time, apply for your file notes. I did so about 2 weeks ago. Although I haven't received my notes yet, CIC requested my medical, bio data and RPRF on the same day. Probably, someone just forgot about my file.

Question: looks like I have few months left on my application after my medical will be done (I'm looking for a doctor who can schedule appointment earlier). My passport expires in May 2014. Will CPP-O accept it or do I have to get a new one? It might take up to 6 months to renew my passport and I have trips planned in Sept and November, so I can't start procedure until December (((

Congrats natinthehat – My application was also received on August 14’ 2012 and I am also yet to hear anything from CIC. Hopefully I hear something soon . I am just hoping for it.
My AOR is also Sep 5’ 2012.
My status as per GCMS is: Recommend Passed, so I am hoping something by this week.

Dear Braveman!

It takes around 1 -2 months after medicals are done before you receive the PPR. If your ECAS is still not showing Medical Results received, then you can send an email to CIC asking them to confirm whether they have received or not.
