Finally after a long wait, I received the PPR today. Thanks to this awesome forum. I wish all the other August applicants waiting for their MR's /PPR's get them soon.

Along with passports, biodata form is requested. I have a question in filling out this, seniors can anyone help me out


In the biodata form, Should I only fill in the accompanying family members(for whom the fees was paid) or even the new Canadian born child as well. I have already sent the Birth certificate of my child to CIC and updated the family composition.

Hi PCKUMAR, I also had a newborn child(3yr old-Canadian citizen!), and I added his detail also in the Biodata form.Hope this helps. I received my passport stamped, and will going for landing this week.

Thanks Jesuslu. I have already sent my passports over the weekedn. Didn't add the new born child in the Biodata form, but mentioned in the Covering letter. How long did it take for you to get your passport stamped?

For me, It was very very short,just 2 days! CIC recd my passport on Monday, It got dispatched on Thursday, I recd on Friday..all my God's grace

Hi All,

Is there a way to find out if CIC has received our medicals apart from checking in ecas, I did my emedicals on 2nd august and DMP says it has been gone to CIC, I am sure emailing them would find out but I keep my communication to minimum, wondering if there is any other way.

Yes DJ, you can send an email to OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca asking them to confirm whether they have received your Medical Examination results. I did the same and got response on the 3rd day.

Hi Shah,

I too received the same response. It means that your MR results are received by CIC. You should be good and can expect the PPR by next week.

I received PPR request a week later I received this response from CIC.

My lawyer sent an email which had the medical receipt and also address change.. She got below reply and nothing about medical receipt..

"Please be advised that mailing address of this applicant has been updated in GCMS"

What should I do?

Apply to gcms note change address from ur ecas

Yes I sent it on the same day. I sent the following:

Required:
--------
a. Filled Bio data form.
b. Passports for me and my family members.
c. 2 photographs for me and my family members.
d. 2 Canada Post National size Xpresspost envelopes, with one self addressed and placed inside other.
e. Copy of PP request letter.

Optional:
---------
a. Covering Letter providing the list of enclosed docs.
b. Copy of RPRF Receipt
c. Copy of Birth Certificate of my child born in Canada.

My PP are received by CIC yesterday. I am hoping to get them back within next 2 weeks if I am lucky
