congratulations to all those who got good news in last couple days, we received our rprf and biodata request yesterday. also they asked me again to send police clearance from oman where im currently residing.
we will send that soon.
quick question
Do we fill up biodata form on our own or do we need to get filled by some professional like doctor or dmp
please advise

You can wait for a week or so and then check your ecas. If not, send an email to CIC to confirm receipt of your medicals.

So right before I got the passport request I had asked my MP's office to follow up on my application. They wrote back today and had this to say :

"I have just spoken with CIC. CPPO received your new passport on July 29th. Everything in your file looks good and they are working towards finalizing the application. They could not provide a time estimate for finalization, but said the final review would take place around the end of September. I know this seems like a long time to wait, but their queues are very long."

They received a copy of my new passport on July 29th. They had requested a copy of my new passport in a separate email from the email of the passport request which arrived on the same day. Ecas shows decision made. My passport arrived at CPPO on Tuesday. GCMS notes show deadline to finalize application as August 19th. Why are they telling my MP's office the end of September? I am kind of freaking out.
