Hi tdcec,

thanks.

Can you share the details for the sending the Passport it will be useful for everyone.

Need details about the following
1. 2 Photograph specification
2. RRPF receipt should be e-mail and also attached with passport ?
3. Bio data to be filled and attached with passport ?
4. Acknowledge postal card size to be attached ?

thanks in advance.

You can find the photo specs in a link embedded in your PPR email. If not, here it is (scroll down a bit): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp#appendixB

I put all my docs (and a self-addressed prepaid Xpresspost National 31.8 cm x 24.1 cm return envelope whose tracking number I noted down) in a generic envelope and took it to the post office where they simply put the Xpresspost sticker on it and then it was on its way. I also put extra details on the mailing label of the outbound envelope (like my UCI and Application #) to make life easy for the receiver. I did NOT ask for signature on delivery because I was mailing to the PO BOX address; but surprisingly, when I checked the tracking, the mail was signed for upon delivery at CPP-O's PO BOX address.

Basically I included a cover letter (not mandatory, but I try not to send documents without one) that listed all the docs in the outbound envelope along with my details (like UCI & Application #), the PPR email print-out, the RPRF payment receipt, the completed Biodata form, the photos and oh yeah, the passport itself.

That was it basically. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Pretty much what swahid has replied to the post. Like swahid, I have also provided a cover letter mentioning what I am enclosing in the Xpresspost envelope. If you follow the instructions received in the passport request email as given, you should not have a problem. Some people have forgotten to include a print out of the passport request email. So, please dont forget that :)

Hi,

I have not yet sent it . going to do it this afternoon.

As per the e-mail from cic the below is the e-mail we need to send it. And my understanding is we will get automatic e-mail reply and i wil also attach the receipt while sending the passport.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Every principal applicant and his/her accompanying spouse/common law partner are required to pay a Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) in the amount of 490 Canadian dollars. The RPRF is a separate fee that must be paid in addition to the processing fees that you have already paid.

Your visas cannot be issued until you have paid the RPRF for [2] person(s). Please follow the attached instructions and email your payment receipt to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca . These fees are refundable if for any reason you do not obtain permanent residence in Canada.

E-mail cic to check whether they have received your payment or not. Send e-mail OttPilot-Immigration <OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca> usually for me they respond in a week max.

Did you send your RPRF payment receipt to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca ?
