Guys,

the ones who are done with their medicals : did any of your docs mentioned that the blood report is sent to Health Canada and it takes 5-6 days to get back the report?

Is it the case with everyone - or is it only my doc, who for some reason, sends the report to Health Canada?

I am planning on going to Colin to do my medicals....if and when it does come through ::)

I had a question regarding medicals though. For those applying under CEC, is it okay to do E-MEdicals? Because when I called this place (Colin F. Saldanha #107-550 Matheson Blvd. West,, Mississauga. Ontario, L5R 4B8), they said I'd have to do paper medicals.

Please advise?

Thanks!

Whoever went to Colin F. Saldanha #107-550 Matheson Blvd. West,, Mississauga. Ontario, L5R 4B8

Please follow-up with them for medicals sent status. Ensure it is sent and also updated in the system.

Note: please don't fight with them in phone, please be patience they are extremely busy hence you need ask them politely to get the details.

I got the information today after the second phone call.

Regards,

It's OK and even better to do eMedicals (as it reaches CIC faster) , its just not all doctors offices support it yet.

I don't know about anybody else, but my blood sample was sent to some centralized government lab for testing; the report took about a week to reach the doctor who then uploaded everything on to CIC's eMedical database (see left for my timelines - I went to Dr. Max in Ottawa).

Hi guys, i need some help. My consultant got this email from immigration officer.

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please note that your file is in process and will continue to be processed at the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (“CPP-O”) office. I am writing you this letter to express my serious concerns regarding your application.

In support of application, you provided a letter of employment dated July 10, 2012 wherein duties listed appear to be drawn directly from HRSDC website. In support of this, you provided a T4 for 2011. In addition, it is not clear whether you were in full time studies during this period. In view of the above, you have not demonstrated you have acquired two years of work experience in NOC 6211, retail sales supervisor."

I actually applied for study permit in 2010 when I applied for my LMO initially. But I got my fee refunded when I got my work permit. Which documents should I send? Please advise.

Thank you

Hi ssuares, I got my medicals done with Dr. Colin Saldanha on 8th May. They do have e-medicals for CEC. You may want to check with them again.

Kipling, was this a rejection email, or are they asking you to provide further information to clarify any concerns with misrepresentation?

Act on it immediately and provide them a letter in a company letterhead stating these info,
1) Your job responsibility and Roles- word these properly make sure you do not copy paste bullet points from site
2) Your job duration
3) Your salary details
4) Contact info of your company
You are lucky they asked for more details, most of the cases they reject the application without asking any clarification.

Send the 2012 T4, and any other evidence you can find to support your work. You will also have to send them a clarification on the studying issue. Maybe the seniors can comment on this, but you could also get an affidavit / statutory declaration from your supervisor to affirm that your work and duties sent earlier.

Also, keep in mind that you may be dealing with two different issues here. If the VO feels you were studying during the time period, he will refuse your application because any time spent studying cannot be counted.

The VO cannot reject you on the duties being the same as the HRSDC website, because even if they are the same, it does not mean you did not perform them. But what does happen is that the VO becomes suspicious of the credibility of the letter. However, you cannot be rejection on a simple suspicion, if you are able to prove that you in fact did perform the duties. To reject on credibility would mean that you are being rejected for misrepresentation (which is very serious and results in removal from Canada). But the VO would have to prove misrepresentation for that to occur.

With these points in mind, I would also consider seeking a legal opinion.

You may want to consult with a BETTER representative than one you have before you do any further step. I , personally, would discourage you from changing the responsibilities on your letter and instead push the line that your responsibility are almost exact match to the one listed in NOC code and therefore your employer used the wording. Changing the job duties may rise additional doubts. Provide your most recent T4, pay slips, recent employment confirmation letter and details how to contact your employer.
