Hi mkapadia,

I think your application should be struck in Criminality Check. I sent a e-mail, i have received a valid details.

Lets wait for your GCMS and see the detailed status. Post the updates which will be helpful for everyone.

When you sent an email to CIC, did you send all three 1) applicant's full name, 2) date of birth and 3)file number OR just the file number?
I only send the application number, maybe because of this they did not bother to even search for it.

Hello,

I applied for CEC and haven't got my medical request. I just got a new work permit. My question is, should I sent a letter with this information to the visa office or just send it through email?
If i also want to change may home address, what would be the best way to notify them?

Thanks!
Otto

Hi,

I would suggest to Fax and also post the same to cic. Change address must be updated and it is important.

You don't need to update the new work permit information. They will have this info from your client id.

Hi mkapadia,

my e-mail format was as below,

First Name: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Last Name: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
file number: E0000XXXXX
date of birth: DD-MON-YYYY
Unique Client Identifier (UCI) : XXXX - XXXX
Application Submitted Date: DD-MON-YYYY
AOR Received Date: DD-MON-YYYY
Credit Card Charged Date: DD-MON-YYYY
Medical Received Date: DD-MON-YYYY
Medicals Completed Date: DD-MON-YYYY

I have quoted the details and asked for the status update about very specific question and got a response. I have asked whether they have received the letter which i have sent on a specific date. They confirmed with the details in 2 weeks.

Check this link:

And yes, RPRF and landing fees are the same.

Small tip: a quick google or search in this forum would have answered your question.

Thank you for your reply. Yep, I should have googled it. Sorry for the bother. Thank you. Cheers and good luck!!

I'll do that as soon as possible.

Take care

Received RPRF and Biodata request today.

Can anyone advise on whether it is required to update Biodata form with details of a child who is born in Canada after applying for PR? Thanks

Congrats rpslva,

Could you please share your timelines and NOC

Thanks

First congrats on the progress in your processing, secondly - YES, you are required to update CIC as soon as you have a child born or any other significant change in your marital/family status.

Did you receive medicals before this? What is your ecas status?

If chield is born then u should update CEC, I dont think it will impact your application as there will be no checks for infants that too if he or /she is already canadian citizen

Not required. Just submit long form Birth Certificate to CIC. That's all.
