Hello Mates,

I just recieved RRPF and Biodata request in email. Hopefully Medical is on its way. I just paid the fees online and will be sending the biodata and fees form Monday morning. My timelines are as follow:

App recieved: Aug 13
AOR: Sept 5
PCC/fingerprints: Attached with app
RRPF and Biodata: May 10
Medical: Waiting

I will be updating the list once Recieved medical. Good Luck to all.

Is it ok to assume that NOCs related to IT or computer sciences related jobs get their medical first..!!??

if so than why such discrepancies or say, preferences ??

Hi Derekjeeter,

I don't think that is the case, we are getting from different NOC. The point is IT or computer science applicants update the forums frequently.

You can check the spreadsheet and trackitt you will know.

Quick question for you. Since we both have same NOC code, I was wondering if police verification (PCC) is causing the delay on my side. I had submitted PCC for US and India with the application. Could you please confirm the countries for which you submitted PCC?

That's correct, generally this forum and other updates mostly come from Tech savy ppl, like IT/consulting,etc.. bcz these ppl use it very often and are good at finding things online. Maybe IT ppl spend more time on computers and being online.. (i am one of those).. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I have submitted Police verification for 3 Countries (India, Italy, and Germany) along with my application.

There are various factors for the delay, from my GCMS notes i understand that the following are the factors,

1. Criminality Check -- Based on Police Verification
2. Background Check -- Based on your education and various certificates
3. Employment Letter and Experience Check -- Based on your T4 forms, Experience letters, Reference Letter etc.,

Once all these are set, they will send Medicals & RRPF. This is my understanding.

Sometimes there are delays in Criminality Check based on the waiting applicants. You can see their GCMS status in forums.

Did you e-mail CIC for the status or Submit gcms notes ?

In fact I also submitted PCC from three contries(India, US and UK)...maybe communicating processing center with a valid reason would help bringing our file up, just a guess...three days back I sent birth certificate of my recent born baby in Canada and our extended WP/VR copies, maybe it has helped my case file revisited by the officer and in taking decision on sending medicals...

I did apply for GCMS notes last week but it will take a month wait to get a response

Which email ID should should I send an email for status? Do they even respond with status or just generic email template?
