I am on vacation in india and had applied for cec from oman so would it be ok to do medicals from india , could any please advise

You can get the medicals done from anywhere in the world but make sure the doctor is from the CIC authorized panel physicians.

now we need to do medical Exams as soon as possible.

Got my Medical request today. So glad. Does anyone know what do they test for the medical? I mean what types of tests? Im sure i dont have any health problems but just in case.

Police certificates from 2 countries sent Sept 19
July 18 - medicals Request for both myself and spouse
July 18 - CIC application status online - application received

What is bio data and RPRF?? Coz I already sent Police certificates.

RPRF is Right to Permanent Resident Fee ( Not sure if you have already paid ) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/resid-fee/faq.asp

Biodata is a small form which will collect applicants Name Age height & eye color. I think this was not captured in the initial application thats why CIC will be requesting this detail.

Guys i have a quick question regarding GCMS.... I have requested notes second time and status on the notes is as follows.

Eligibility = Passed
Medical = Passed
Criminality= Passed
Security = Not started.

and then in the comments it says.

NAI , PA documents have been reviewed and i am satisfied that PA meets CEC application criteria, PC clearance requested from Home country, Passports records and check records pending.

What does this NAI ? is it No adverse information ? also my understanding is that PC clearance shouldn't been received thats how they made the over all status of criminality as passed .. isnt it ?

can some one please clarify ? ...

Baham my understanding is NAI stands for No Adverse Information same as yours.

Sometime immigration officer don't update notes while updating status. As per your status Criminality is done, Medicals Passed, and Eligibility Passed. You will Passport request very shortly may be in couple of weeks. I was in exactly same status on June 2nd 2013 and i got passport request on June 14th 2013.
