Hi, Everyone.
This is my first post. I have read this thread on and off again for the last 2-3 months. Since many of you already got their medical requests, I am getting kinda nervous about my situation. I applied for PR under CEC on Aug 23 and got AOR on Sep 13. I have not gotten my med request and PC request yet. Should I send my PC and md check before they request? When I checked out my status on line, it says ''We received your application for permanent residence on August 23, 2012.''
Any advice will be helpful and congrats to all of you who already got approved. :)
You don't need to send Medicals in advance. however you can request for GCMS notes which may give some insight to your application.

It is a request for your file related information, you can apply online through this link https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
You need a proof to make this request "Proof may include a copy of your Canadian passport, your permanent resident card, or an official document that demonstrates you are currently living in Canada"
This will take 15-20 days

Thanks.....I realized that I am not even eligible to request this one as I am living in Japan now.

I think if you have a friend who is living in Canada he can make request on your behalf, however I have not done this so I am not sure.

Hi ,
I just got RCMP request as well. Few questions-
1. Does the missisagua agency emails that RCMP certificate or sends by regular post?
2. I will be sending it by courier to Director General.... Is Canadapost Xpress service considered courier?

Thanks!

CORRECTION - Sorry Androme. Actually, RCMP will send the certificate to YOUR ADDRESS within 72 hours. Then, you will have to send the document to CIC.

RCMP will NOT send the clearance certificate to CIC directly. My apologies for the misinformation earlier.
You mentioned about mailing the document to CIC....do you mean we need to mail it to this address-
"Director General
Canadian criminal real time identification services
RCMP....
Ottawa ......."

Hi CEC, Yes I went to the Dixie ROad this SUnday. It is an accredited agency. My lawyer confirmed that. Reached there at 9.00 Am or just before that and there was no one but the old man at this desk. He took us in right away and we were out of there by 9.30 AM.

I am actually going through a lawyer so I will be giving it to my Lawyer. SOrry Cec not sure about the courier process unfortunately. Sorry about that.

PCCs are required in original format....so you will need to mail them in the good old way of Canada post. courier is fine too...but double check the address for courier.
