Please update my Status to Landed April 8th!

My huby landed on April 9 2012 :) He said that everything went smoothly at the airport, and it seems that 2 hours and 45 minutes was sufficient at the Calgary airport, with some time left over. His English is minimal, and he didn't have any trouble completing the landing interview and the works.

Best wishes to the rest of the Augustees :)

Congratulations! Is this now a quick issuing of the visa from your visa office? Or do they collect the passports early and hold them for a while?

I really don't know bu from what I saw on Phils Aug. Spreadsheet mostly it depends.on when your medical expires and on the visa officer processing your papers....so still crossing our fingers that my husband visa will be released soon.

Please can I ask for all Augustees to provide there current timelines, if you have asked to be submitted to the spreadsheet. Some of you are doing so on a regular basis which is great, but I am having to search for others on the forum for their signatures etc and it is really time consuming. It would really help me out. Also have a quick look and make sure your dates are correct. Congratulations to all those who have COPR and good luck to all those still waiting

Take a look....

Hello,
Im new to this but also applied in Aug '12. I am from the US and my spouse is Canadian. We received his approval in the beginning of November '12 and my status changed to "in process" in February when we received a passport request/ right of permanent residence fee request email. We paid our fee and now im anxious to see what's next as I believe this is the homestretch. I saw other posts about the "PPR" (passport request) email and people seemed to be excited to receive this as it signaled good news...? Shall I start getting my hopes up yet? Im not super savvy about the abbreviations used on this forum, bit quite invested in my immigration process of course so would like to hear opinions on what the next step is for me to look forward to. Thanks everyone!!

congratulations to everyone who have reached the finish line, and good luck to those who still haven't.

my timeline on the spreadsheet is correct, and there is no update yet.

I already recieved my COPR a while ago but still don't know when I can leave to Canada. There are problems with getting the export papers for my parrot. It's all so uncertain. I need a healthcertificate for my pet parrot and I have to get that at the Dutch Food and Product Consumer safety Authority. But they are really behind and ver slow there. They can't even promiss that I get it before my COPR is expired. This feels so powerless. I'm doing nothing besides making phonecall s and sending emails to find out if there's another way. I'm totally in stress over it.
