Do they remind you what the size of the photographs need to be? I am going to Canada in exactly a month and I think I'll just get a set taken there. Last time I had to print them myself because I couldn't find any place who would take them for me in the States.

I just go to Costco! They are cheap and stamp them. its 4 Passport sized photos!

I just received an email from my attorney. CIC is now requesting the Right of Permanent Residency Fee. He said that this means that it looks as though we are nearing the end of the application. Anyone else have experience here? ECAS still says "Application Received".

6 months 3 days after CPP-O receiving our application, we just got a passport request and notification of waived interview! :o ;D Although our file was supposedly transferred to LA, we are supposed to send the passport copies to CPP-O. We can send scans of both of our passports (and my birth certificate) by email. I am SO happy and honestly quite impressed with how efficient this process has been so far! They are doing something right!

I think most applicants pay the fee at the time of application. I suggest you pay ASAP to avoid delays.

Congratulations joezimmer! That is great 8)

We got our PPR today with interview waived ;D ;D

I'm so hoping that Shylox hears something really soon :'(

Canuck, your application is the same date as ours! Congrats!

And yes, hoping for Shylox.

Thanks for your support guys! Keeping my fingers crossed. But I just noticed that out of all Aug. applicants going through Ottawa, I was the last to get my sponsor approval so maybe I'll be the last to get PPR too. I'm clinging to this so I can still have hope of no interview lol

I haven't been in this thread in ages, how is everyone?

If you want to get them done in Canada they do them at Walmart. That is where we got ours.
In the States they do them at Walgreens.

I thought that was the case too but Walmart, cvs, Walgreens or Costco couldn't do it. Walgreens had the passport sizes for Canada which are bigger than the 35mmx45mmm (I think those were the requirements?) :( it doesn't help that I live in the Midwest in the middle of nowhere.

Oh but I have to add, yes I ll probably go to Walmart in Canada or I heard shoppers do it too. :)

CAA does them too.
