I JUST GOT THE EMAIL ABOUT THE PPR FOR MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!

And I feel like I could cry all day. MAN! Is that ever a lot of pent up emotion!!

YAY!!!! Best of luck to the rest of us in August (and well, all of us enduring this hellish process)!

If I had such a heart attack when they were only requesting that I updated a few papers, I can only imagine how I'll feel when I finally get my PPR!

To any other Augustees who applied through Ottawa, it seems they're starting to send PPRs to people who applied in July, that means it's our turn soon yayyyyy =D =D

I think I'm going to order my notes this week, mostly because I'm curious to see if they've done anything with my file.

I applied for another visitor visa extension last month, here's hoping I won't need it now! haha (Do they refund that stuff? I could use that $75! haha)

Well, Ottawa had been at what seemed like a halt for a while, so it is very good news to finally see movement again. They weren't even able to issue COPRs until just recently =\

But I wish all VOs around the world could move at faster speeds too, this waiting thing is hard!

Hey Everyone, I am having a problem now, i checked my application status probably a week or 10 days ago and it was saying "Applications Received" but when i am checking now its giving error instead, saying:


We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.
