Really? I'd a thought that after you send off the app that there'd be a sense of relief that would last a while....well, I guess it really is a "hurry up and wait" thing, eh?

I thought the same thing... but nope. Now I check this site about a billion times a day, check for updated processing times, read stories and think "did I do enough?".. ahhhh. Trying not to go crazy! lol

yep and then you think once you the aor that will be enough...nope then you wait for approval....and that joy lasts about 1 week...and then you are back to waiting to hear from the VO....it really is a vicious cycle...but the end is worth the means.......I mean what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and if you can get through this process you should be able to accomplish anything

Hi All, we are planning to send our application by the end of this week. It will go to Mississauga first and then the New Delhi Visa Office. Is there anyone else going through the same VOs?

I'm so close to sending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just spent the whole evening making cover pages for everything and bull dog clipping everything.... just a few more things tomorrow and then Wednesday I should be able to send it (God I hope so!!).... also have to make the payment online tomorrow which I pray doesn't give me any problems!!!!

Just to be 100% certain, on the online payment receipt, I should write my information (sponsor), right????????!!!!!!!

We just filled that up, and after a little research (with no 100% clear answer), we decided that we had to put the sponsor's information. Also, we wrote down the address linked to the credit card instead of the current residence, because somewhere we read it could also be meant as another security measure to know it was paid with the proper credit card :s

Btw, good luck on sending it on Wednesday My time should be on Thursday!

IF you get AOR, you will get it by mail - so nothing to do but wait and check your mail ( which I assume you do on a regular basis anyway)!.

For all august applicants - just relax!! sorry to say - but it's way too early to get anxious about an answer, and if you think about it already a lot by now, you will be insane in 3 months. So - the website says working on mid may applicants - just don't think about it. Set your mind to hear about CIC in 3 months from now, and anything that comes earlier than that is just good news!

Cover pages are not necessary! I just have to them separate things and make it more obvious what is separated and what is included in each following part.... I'm doing a big main cover page (in yellow) that will give a general table of contents for the whole application... then I will have 3 sub categories (in orange- sponsor, applicant, proof of relationship), and on each of those I will give a general table of contents of what's included.... then I have many mini sub categories that explains what is coming up... for example: Wedding: - invitation, guest book photocopy, wedding receipts, etc etc etc........ just to break it up and give them a heads up of what's to come. NOT MANDATORY! So don't worry about it!

Bull dog clips are those ones that u can flip the sliver handle back to open and close the clip, and then u flip it forward down on the paper to hold it there... they're generally just black, but sometimes come in colours too, all different sizes from tiny to huge.... I don't really know how to explain it... They're just glorified paper clips that can firmly hold paper and more of it.... Again, nothing to worry about! LOL!

I was told by a few people that it doesn't really matter whether it's the sponsor or the applicant- however some other finicky people told me it's meant to be the sponsor. I am sure they can match it up either way (Having said that I put myself, the applicant - just because I was using my credit card)
