i still havint heard anything back they got my application back on friday i fixed the errors and you think i will hear somethng get my approval soon?? im hoping my paperwork goes smooth and she is here soon lol

Yes this normally would mean approval because sponsorship is very rarely refused unless you are a criminal, bankrupt or on welfare. I take it by the message that this was on ecas, am I correct.

It said that that they started processing my application on October 28, 2011 and we have sent you a letter about the decision.

if they said they made a decision then sponsorship program is done. They did not say additional information or whatever so I would 95% say congratulation.

I thought that VO send AOR to the person being sponsored.
Are you the sponsor or the principle applicant?

guys.. still trying to contact CIC about my file # so I can give them our new address and STILL impossible to get through.. I've called morning, afternoon, thursday, friday, every day, I always get the same automated busy msg and then get hung up on! How are any of you getting through? I am dialing 1 1 1 1 1 0 as usual to get through to a rep.. no luck.. any help?! I don't know how else to inform them of my address change short of contacting the VO but I don't even know if my file is there yet and I don't have a file number !

Ideally, it's good to call them around Thursdays, but if you can't wait, then you have to try multiple times a day. I remember doing that on a Tuesday and I was able to reach an agent after my 3rd try.

I know, I've tried multiple times a day every day for the past week ... I'll keep trying, just feels like they have this automated msg up and they never take it down, like it's impossible to get through! ugh thanks maple
