Aug/Sep/Oct Applicants Waiting for PPR

Some FSWs got PPR on Wednesday this week. So I guess it's just us that are waiting .

Called CIC, they said my whole file is gone for 'further review' on Tuesday guess I wont hear anything for another year or so.. Good luck everybody else!

As per my GCMS, my file was sent for further review and it was recommended pass in July. Whole further review process took 3 months as per GCMS. Just waiting for security checks to complete now. Hang in there hopefully it won't take another year for you.

Not a good sign. It means primary VO has concerns on file. His/her concern on my file was for spouse, she was refused visitor visa twice in past due to BS reasons. I think he/she just wanted to ensure everything is legit. Secondary VO verified my proofs of marriage again and addressed concern. His last note on GCMS was I'm convinced PA and spouse meets eligibility requirements.

Again further review could be for anything. If it is for BG check, it may take several months.

According to my GCMS notes which I received in Early June said Review in Progress for Security, means Eligibility and Admissibility was passed so why the whole file has gone for review again is a mystery and 3 months more that will be 27 months hopefully.. This seems like a never ending process - I am thinking to apply for Express Entry.. any suggestion??

I think your further review is on Security. When was your security started?

I thought about EE too but I don't want to go through IETLS and all paper work again. If I don't get CEC PR, I'm out of here. Life is awaiting better opportunities else where.

it might be wrong here but I was going through other threads trying to learn about this "further review" I've come to 2 conclusions. The one I think is most likely is that your file is pretty much complete and s being sent to for its last review which means you should be getting PPR soon. Second conclusion is that they are unsure of certain parts of your file and are sending it for a senior person to have a look. I could be be wrong on both of these, I'm just goin based on what I've seen on other threads

yes. Dont worry. And remember where ever they strat working on one thing the entire file gets transferred not one or two pages. so Whole file is actually normal
