no don't worry. They are BS'ing.
I also called today and the person you spoke said it's 20 month.

Honestly, even if they change it to 24 month, we will fall in that range very very soon :'( >:(

I am waiting for ppr my spouse is in India
Is there any chance I can go back to my home country
Because my BOWP is going to expire on next month
I did not applied it I want to stay my home country and waiting for ppr
Is there any problem with my pr application or I have to stay in Canada
Please reply

Dear MannatCanada,

You can go back to home country and wait, it does not change anything. update your address so when they can arrange for a nearer visa office to get your PPR and other formalities.

received one more line yesterday, but cannot get through call center, not sure what correspondence they sent >:(

That is what we thought, both my agent and I did not receive anything as of now. The correspondence was sent on Jul 25th

I was "decision made" yesterday, today is "in process", anyone knows what is going on??

I guess they don't want you to know that the file is ready for PPR until they send out the PPRs in a batch.

One call center agent was kind to tell me that the decision has been made on my application for a month now and I should be receiving PPR anytime. Then another agent next time told me that decision has not been made yet.
