Nice! nakakainspire nga! Well since wala pa ang hinihintay nating confirmation ng venue, at ang mga OFW ay di pa makapag book ng ticket, magkwentuhan muna tayo.. hehehe!

Bakit nga ba Canada? In my case, I've been working here in Singapore for 8 years now. Unfortunately, it's very costly to bring our 2 kids here and I can't even see doing that in the next 5 years. So we are missing a lot. We are spending so much to go home at least 3 times a year just to be with them for a few days. So I decided to be somewhere where I can be with them while still have the capacity to remit money to support my mom and my brother (remember kung bakit ka OFW sabi nga ng boss ko ;D) So, Canada is my best option to be with my kids while putting up the foundation for their future. On top of it, health benefits and free education is really a game changer. Malindol daw sa New Zealand kaya ayaw ko dun, sa Australia naman mas madami daw racist. Hehehe!

Same here i hv the same reason as you guys have, dto ako ngwowork sa pinas medyo ok nmn work and
salary pro ibang usapan na kc pg future ng kids ang nakataya. As you all know nmn cgro our politics is
getting worse here and sobrang di ka na secured because of a lot of activities in the govt.
Anyways I found Canada more inspiring to migrate compared to other countries because of the safety of
the environment specially for the kids. Sbi nga nung HR recruiter na naginterview sa kin last Nov, in NB
we dont hv any security guards in the mall with dogs roaming around the area thats how secured we
are. Nakaka-inspire di ba? Too bad di pa lang ako sinwerte haha, pro try and try lng tlga and prayers
ibibigay naman ni Lord pag tlgang sa tin

Sana iconfirm nila ng mas maaga para makapagbook na tayo ng tickets. Ang hirap for us mga OFW kasi mapapagastos talaga tayo. ???

kasi di ba dun sa autoreply na email sa una, ang sabi dun is "We will also share your details with NB employers so you may receive a request to provide additional information." So I wonder kung ano pa kaya yung additional info na hahanapin at kung wala ka kaya mprovide hindi ka na pwede umattend? hehe. Dami umiikot na tanong sa utak ko e

Hindi ko akalain na may program na ganito. Wala kasi ako sa Pinas ngayon at gumawa na din ako ng Express entry profile. Bale nag aantay na lang ako ng draws. Ang tanong ko lang dun sa registration form, tinatanong kung "Do you have close relatives in other province?" meron akong tita sa British Columbia, considered ba sila as close relatives? Ang nakasulat kasi dun first degree relatives (brother,sister or parent). Paki clarify naman po. Salamat.

I think subject to argument naman ito. If you will stick dun sa first degree, you can say NO then you may proceed sa registration however if you consider your tita as close relative, which we normally do, you can say YES. The thing is I dont think makakapag sign up ka. Kung ako tatanungin mo, I will answer NO, on the basis of the first degree relatives, then along the way if need arises pwede mong e brought up about sa tita mo but make him/her believe na you dont have intention to move there. Alam ko kasi inaassess din nila yung willingness mo to stay sa province nila.

Hello Guys! Thanks sa pag create nitong group Scargee. ;D ako naman nasa Pinas now. Okay naman ang work pero sa Canada talaga namin gusto mag settle. For our future kids na din. Gusto namin bigyan ng magandang future. Matagal na namin hinhintay itong info session. Last Nov kasi employer driven scheme tapos may preferred occupation lang. eh wala naman kami dun so di ako nag signup.

Sana makuha tayo lahat. Ang iniisip ko lang now baka may in demand silang professions na gusto lang i-hire under AIP. Huwag naman sana hehe Wala pa din akong natatanggap na email pero kabado kakaisip lol

Binago nya yung word instead na first degree, close relative and binanggit. So parang nalito ako. Pero my answer was NO. Anyway, sana mabigyan ng chance. BTW gano ba katagal ang process na ito? 400+ na kasi ang CRS score ko pero naghahanap pa rin ako ng ways to gain more score sa express entry...

MAtaas na pala CRS nyo Sir eh, qualified na kayo kahit sa Ontario kaso di pa din nagbubukas. Anyway, by April daw kasama nila employers so I think for those lucky ones eh magiging mabilis. I think this will be more on IT jobs though. Tanong lang Sir, kung may tita kayo sa ibang province bakit di na lang dun targetin nyo? ;D

@pacificislander - may relatives din si hubby sa other province (uncle) but we chose NO para makapagregister and uncle is considered second degree relative na (not immediate/close relative) ;D but then again, I would have to agree with @Tomguts33's opinion on this one. Hehe!

Sa British Columbia kasi nakatira ang tita at cousins ko. BC PNP is mostly employer driven which means kailangan ng employer para ma nominate. Base sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum at sa iba pang sites, almost imposible maghanap ng work or employer. In reality, hindi naman daw talaga makakahanap ng work na gusto mo agad sa Canada, so how much more pa kaya kung online application lang. My score is 430 and I will be losing 5 points this April dahil tumatanda na ako.haha. The minimum score is getting close to mine kaya hindi na ko mapakali.haha. last draw was 453. Hindi ko alam kung patuloy pa ang pagbaba ng score or tataas pa (hwag naman sana). Kaya nga napapaisip akong maghanap ng Provincial nomination. So far itong Atlantic pa lang ang nakikita kong applicable sa case ko. Pero i think aabutin din ng months ang pag apply ng nomination...

I have registered for the February 16 session in Manila. I am currently employed abroad and I would like to make sure if I am eligible to attend the session. I would appreciate if you could give me information the soonest possible time since I would need to make arrangements to travel back home to the Philippines once I get the confirmation.

Ang reply lang is - YES.

Pero I would still need to wait for the follow up email ng venue di ba? So pwede na ako magbook ng ticket pauwi pinas di ba?

Kasi sabi naman dun sa auto email nung una from immigration@livinginnb.ca - You will need a copy of this confirmation email to access the session. So wala naman siguro issue basta dala ko lang ung printed confirmation email na yun. At sana e matanggap na natin ung follow up email na yun para malaman na kung saan gaganapin!

Thanks scargee. May idea po kayo kung gaano katagal yung process? Kasi po may express entry profile na ako, pero nagdadalawang isip ako kung mag aapply ako ng PNP or hindi na. Medyo malapit na kasi yung score ko sa mga nagiging draw results...

New project kasi ito so wala din po ako idea kung gano katagal process pero I'm assuming na mas mabilis since employers from the Atlantic region would have to hire yung mga applicants ng AIP at dahil hindi na nga kailangan ng LMIA. Wala naman po ata problema kung may EE at PNP kayo. Hintayin nyo na lang po kung alin ang mauna - kung bumaba sa EE sa score nyo or kung makakuha kayo ng PNP (+600).
