Hi Sir Tomguts,

Sa British Columbia kasi nakatira ang tita at cousins ko. BC PNP is mostly employer driven which means kailangan ng employer para ma nominate. Base sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum at sa iba pang sites, almost imposible maghanap ng work or employer. In reality, hindi naman daw talaga makakahanap ng work na gusto mo agad sa Canada, so how much more pa kaya kung online application lang. My score is 430 and I will be losing 5 points this April dahil tumatanda na ako.haha. The minimum score is getting close to mine kaya hindi na ko mapakali.haha. last draw was 453. Hindi ko alam kung patuloy pa ang pagbaba ng score or tataas pa (hwag naman sana). Kaya nga napapaisip akong maghanap ng Provincial nomination. So far itong Atlantic pa lang ang nakikita kong applicable sa case ko. Pero i think aabutin din ng months ang pag apply ng nomination...

I think you should explore the PNP Sir. Kasi, wala rin nmn kasiguraduhan na ibaba ng CIC yung CRS atleast meron kang option 2 na nakaready. As for the speed of processing nitong AIP, wala pa siguro makakasagot since this is a newly launched program ng Atlantic provinces. Kapit lang Sir malay mo anytime soon magopen na Ontario, malamang pasok na pasok kayo dun. hehehe! ;D

New project kasi ito so wala din po ako idea kung gano katagal process pero I'm assuming na mas mabilis since employers from the Atlantic region would have to hire yung mga applicants ng AIP at dahil hindi na nga kailangan ng LMIA. Wala naman po ata problema kung may EE at PNP kayo. Hintayin nyo na lang po kung alin ang mauna - kung bumaba sa EE sa score nyo or kung makakuha kayo ng PNP (+600).

Actually Pilot ito for this year, pero matagal na itong hinihingi ng Maritime provinces. So likely base sa first year implementation, pwede ito i-expand. Ang gusto kasi ng Maritime provinces (NS, NB, PE) is retain newcomers - so instead of asking for individual quota increases per province, isang Pilot Program na lang for the Atlantic provinces.

Between the provinces - NB is more aggressive - mataas ang activity nila last year. PE and NS medyo nag-lie low, waiting for this year to start again. Take advantage of it, considering nag-open sila means they (Provinces and Fed) are devoting some resources dito.

And looking at other Atlantic Provinces immigration programs - me mga sarado pa sa NS and PE na streams, and this is the only one recently announced that will open.

I have registered for the February 16 session in Manila. I am currently employed abroad and I would like to make sure if I am eligible to attend the session. I would appreciate if you could give me information the soonest possible time since I would need to make arrangements to travel back home to the Philippines once I get the confirmation.

At nakareceive ako ng reply. Ang tipid ng sagot. Walang details or explanation.

Ang reply lang is - YES.

Pero I would still need to wait for the follow up email ng venue di ba? So pwede na ako magbook ng ticket pauwi pinas di ba?

Kasi sabi naman dun sa auto email nung una from immigration@livinginnb.ca - You will need a copy of this confirmation email to access the session. So wala naman siguro issue basta dala ko lang ung printed confirmation email na yun. At sana e matanggap na natin ung follow up email na yun para malaman na kung saan gaganapin!

Up ko lang. Magbook na ba ko ticket dahil sa YES na yan? :-\

Kasi hindi pa nawawala ang art of letter writing dito, lalo na sa Maritimes, so a response from them can be followed up by an acknowledgment or Thanks lang. It also serves na confirmation na natanggap mo ang reply nila. Does not hurt to try.

Then at least malalaman mo kung auto-response.

(Sometime ago me announcement na din na na changes to the scrutiny ng immigration applications will be done by auto-algorithm, pero wala pang balita kung kelan implementation)

You can send back an email, thanking them for confirming your eligibility, and asking politely, if possible to provide details on logistics (venue, time) or ask if you should be expecting another message from then with more details. Kasi hindi pa nawawala ang art of letter writing dito, lalo na sa Maritimes, so a response from them can be followed up by an acknowledgment or Thanks lang. It also serves na confirmation na natanggap mo ang reply nila. Does not hurt to try.

Actually hindi - NS ako. I have been following the Atlantic Immigration Program - simula ng initiative ito, since pa ng humingi ng added increase ng quota ang provinces, at mga steps towards retaining more newcomers to settle permanently in the three provinces. Well matagal na din ako sa forums - but of interest sa akin ang mga immigration topics sa Atlantic.
