ARC request and GCMS notes-please help!

I received my notes back today and in the notes at the end it says please request arc payment and updated police check and the note is dated August 7th. In outgoing correspondence section it says request to issue:letter Status: generate Due date: oct 7th

We have not received a letter yet and I am wondering if the due date on there is for us to pay the fee and put in letter or is it the due date of when they have to put the letter out by?

Also I emailed before and asked if we could pay the ARC fee before they asked and they replied back to me saying no that we had to wait for it to be requested. Is it enough that I can see a letter is supposed to go out and submit everything now or do I have to wait for the actual letter? Thanks

When our application was transfered to the visa office an after we received the AOR we knew that we had to pay the Arc so I emailed the VO and asked them if we can pay the ARC right away to get it out the way and they replied saying not to do anything until they ask us to do so. Yeah that is the same, I had emailed and asked if we could pay early too but they told me no we have to wait until the request came in but we haven't gotten the request yet, I just read about it in the notes. Thanks for your help though!

You should email them, tell them you received your notes and it says on them the request letter was sent but you never received it
and ask them to send it again.

we had our aor sent to us apparently and never received it either, until we emailed them and asked about it

its important you contact them right away to have them resend the letter

it says they sent it august 7, so October 7 would be 60 days
that is the usual time frame to hand in documents. they send the letter by email not mail. so it should have showed up the same day.
ours for the arc was also a 60 day time frame.

this is how I figured it out using our notes anyways lol
we got our notes after the file was complete so we were able to look up when they sent all the letters out and when they were due.

how long has it been since the aor, or the last correspondence you have had with them ?
for us it was only a couple weeks from when we sent in our last documents to get the arc request, but that was also when there was no strike :-\

Everything is abreviated but it's possible to figure out by using common sense. When I received my notes this week, it only made me angry at the lack of progress they have made after holding my wife's passport for 6 months! I could actually see two week time gaps in which absolutely nothing was done with our application!

But on the notes it says the letter has not been generated yet as if August 15th when the notes were generated. It looks like it was sent to a different officer to generate the letter on August 7th. I can't see the due date for the arc payment to be oct 7th if the letter has not gone out yet. That would not give us the full 60 days. When they sent the request for the rprf fee it said status:sent via:email in my notes where this time it just says status: generate with the via is blank.
