ARC request and GCMS notes-please help!

yes all refugee claims will be a permanent ban......you sign a paper when you first apply that if you are denied then you will be deported. It reads differently in the operation manuals but all in all if deported, you need an ARC to return to Canada.

As for overstaying on work visa or travel visa, if you are caught and told to return then they will give you an exclusion order for 1 or 2 year ban from returning.

I really hope that POS gets moving soon. It feels like forever since we have had positive movement, but hey I know you've been at this process for a really long time too. I will get y notes this week (if they are on time) and I just hope something has been done. In my dreamy world, I hope they are waiting out my husbands exclusion order and will request his PP the day after!!! Big dreams!

Is he on a 1 or 2 year ban? there was a girl in Kingston thread hers exclusion order came due in May but they asked for the ARC in March and when hubby took his passport in June, there was a cheque for them returning the $400 since their exclusion order was up so that was a nice surprise for her.
Hubby is excited yes, he has been so down in the dumps lately so this really lifted his spirits and I am just at the point that this is enough already and I just want to be over and done with this process. It takes alot of you when you wait sooooo long! I went to JA in May of this year so it has been almost 4 months since we seen each other, when I went in May, it was 10 months since I had last seen him before that. It is hard to leave him at the airport and it is just depressing for both of us.
Do you get to see your spouse much?

I will take you up in that offer of figuring out what the notes say. We last ordered in June and basically the initial assessment was done which states some really stupid concerns (3 yrs age difference, have a child in common, married prior to leaving, appear to be dating for a while, pictures appear natural/ unstated) so really no concerns but this is what was indicated under this heading. Also stated for senior officer to review. I'm hoping for no interview. Time will tell!

Oops! Posted before I was done.

But the one year order is now almost up. We have been to Trinidad in Novemer 2012 and April 2013. I had planned to go in either August or October but it is really hard travelling with an 18 month old! She was not very happy on our last flight back. So we are going for Christmas. We will be there just about 3 weeks. Of course I am hoping hubby will be home by that time.

Was your husband asked to submit an RCMP clearance or did you attach with your original file? I am still waiting for my husbands so hopefully I get it before they ask.

Basically this is what I have read should be included in an ARC letter. The letter should be formal and should include why you want to return to Canada/ reasons for being allowed back and the #1 reason should be your spouse or significant other. As well include details of your goals, future goals as a couple (family, children), your work plans to support yourself, family and contribute to society, state you aren't a security threat and have not been involved in crime in Canada or home country, young healthy, need to be close to family in Canada and benefits of living in Canada versus your own country.
I have also been told that the person should "apologize" for their mistake but I'm not sure about this. So for our file, we would say something acknowledging my husband did wrong by not leavibg Canada when he was suppose to and this should not have been done. We would likely state he bought his own ticket and did turn himself over to authorities which is a positive of his character/ responsible in some way.

yes our notes said stuff like that also for the initial assessment and then file went to another officer for review and more notes were put in on how the assessment meant then at the end it says satisfied on BF (bonafide) interview waived so even though they note those things, they may not be a concern as much as just notes to the next officer to look at those things just in case. Yes he is getting excited, LOL I don't think he ever unpacked, the minute that stamp is on his passport him and the kids are on a flight LOL We live in the southern part of Ontario in Brantford so he will be landing in TO. Where abouts are you from?

Yeah I don't think they will ask you for the ARC at all seeing as yours is almost up. Prayers going out that they don't, one less expense for you!

That will be nice to go at Christmas time but yes hoping he is here instead of there for your sake.
